Could you make a video about slightly older games that you still play? It is good to know a game that you really enjoyed in any particular year, but I reckon the most valuable games would be those that you'd still play from time-to-time a few years down the road.

Love this list, I really appreciate your channel as an alternate view and selection from the more mainstream stuff. We picked up MS Batory after playing it in Essen from your recommendation. What player count have you found works best? We’ve played it regularly 2 player and one 4 player. I prefer the way the game plays with 4 but our game did go way too long.

I've never played it 2 player. I've played it at three and four, which I both enjoy. I would kind of agree it's a bit long at four. As a comparison I played Mystery of the Abbey last night and it ran even longer. I think as people get stuck in the deduction it can slow down in these types of games. Alternatively, I played the very simple deduction game Sherlock 13 and found it to be not interesting at all, even though it was over in 10-20 minutes.

Actualol Ah I’d be interested what you’d think on a 2 player level! Yeah deduction does tend to need some actual length to “feel right,” almost in the same way as a Civ 4X builder.
