Yes. George's ban ended in 2014; him and Culture Club are still touring across the US (I have seen them twice, and they put on a fantastic show), and have even done a couple residencies in Vegas over the past year.

Makes sense. If you have a criminal record for violence, that's usually no no. Similar with Canada. I remember when he was in papers for assaulting that male escort. A few people came forward and had stories to say about him. One was actually an old story from an old teacher of his. It was from when he first became famous and the story came to light again. Supposedly the teacher couldn't of made it any clearer how evil the guy is, back when he knew him as a student. The teacher even said something like, that he doesn't even care that he gets sued for slander, due to wanting people to know what kind of person he really is.
