I lose it every time I watch the scene in Lilo & Stitch where Nani, knowing that social services is coming to take her little sister in the morning, holds her and softly sings Aloha 'Oe (Farewell to Thee), then opens her hands and watches the two small flowers she was holding blow away and disappear on the wind. Also most of us had been with toy story since our childhoods, and we were the same age as him in the first and second one....Depending on your generation, you were around the same age or maybe ten years older than him in toy story 3 and it was like we were giving our childhood away with him, and accepting that that part of our lives is over and we have officially entered adult hood. I mean we were already adults, but...but that made it official...Lol.

A lot of scenes made me cry, but if I had to pick three, it would be Riley admitting to her parents that she missed Minnesota, the first ten minutes of Up and Ian giving up his chance to see his dad so that Barley can say goodbye in Onward. The scenes that made me ugly cry: Joy breaking down in Inside Out (“I just wanted Riley to be happy”) and the ultimate one, Coco. I ugly cried the first time when Hector sends Miguel back, and I thought after, ok I’m good. And then he sings Remember Me to Mama Coco and I lost it

That's the look our dog had when we had to surrender her. She was a rescue dog who had been abandoned. We just never could get her over her fear of not having food. After she attacked our daughter, thankfully no more than torn jeans and a cut knee, we realized we couldn't do anything to help her. With all the kids in our neighborhood, we just couldn't take the chance. It broke our hearts, but we knew it was for the best.

Coco came out 4 months before my Great Grandmother passed away, she died peacefully at the age of 92 and for her birthday before she died my little cousins sang Remember Me from that movie telling my great grandmother to never forget her happy family in the afterlife. At her funeral during the burial Remember Me (Lullaby version) played and I cried so much till I was dehydrated. Until this day whenever I see that scene where Miguel sings Remember Me to Mama Coco or hear that song it'll always bring me to tears because it reminded me so much about my great grandmother. RIP Great Grandmother Aquilina. I miss you everyday of my life.

An honorable mention for me would be when Keenai (forgive if I misspelled that) tells Koda about his mother's death. The truth can be a harsh pill to swallow. A child realizing their mother is dead is harsh enough but when the person that he has bonded with finally tell him, Keenai's guilt from his actions and Koda heartbroken is a very sadden moment.
@complex2live
@complex2live 7 ай бұрын
That one still gets me, mainly just of how the scene is orchestrated. They could have had it where we hear Kennai tell Koda the whole story, but I think with the song playing in the background with only the important parts of the story being voiced out to us was a great decision. We see more shots of Keenai looking away from Koda because of guilt, but definitely Koda's facial expressions. Koda goes from being excited about a new story, but then we see him slowly get more and more scared and sad when he realizes where his mother is. In my opinion, it's right there at Bambi's mom. In Bambi's case, Bambi doesn't know where his mother is and that is scary to think about, but with Koda, he knows what happened now. The fact that you as a young child getting told by your best friend what happened to them is terrifyingly sad.

You missed the only one that actually gets me choked up every time. It's when Ralph attempts to sacrifice himself at the end of Wreck it Ralph.

Omg same! Things with animals always have a special place in my heart, amprothomortic or not. Remember me also hit hard too. My favorite movie is Zootopia, and I do love fox and the hound, coco and lion king

For me, it was always that opening story in Up, always got me. I haven't seen Coco yet but I recently had a couple losses, my mother just a couple years ago, and the love of my life literally just recently, saw that Coco scene and had to pause the video...let's just say that's now at the top of my list, just knowing that scene I'm not sure I'd be able to make it through the whole movie.
