One time around a rainy evening I was going out with some of my friends when I met a man whom I knew, drenched in water holding something inside his coat. We stood in a shelter and started talking, turns out he was holding a chart paper that his daughter needed the next day. Couple of years ago I watched this video. I didn’t cry. I was too full of pain and hatred for myself that I couldn’t express any emotion for anyone else, and the testosterone made it hard to cry, even though I really needed to. Now, a year on HRT, and being my true self, and no testosterone blocking my tears, I cried at the first video, and I couldn’t be happier with myself. I’m glad I can cry and be myself now, and to express myself.
