It's amazing to see Miami at #2 over Chicago. It doesn't appear that Miami is slowing down it's Skyscraper construction either with it's first "Starscraper" the 100 story Waldorf-Astoria under construction now. Thanks for the video!

Thanks for viewing! Miami biggest decade for skyline growth was from 2001-2010, 52% of the towers built in the last 25 years were built during that decade. Miami growth is significantly more spread out. Where as Chicago is mostly in its downtown/CBD.

@@TheSkylineKing Chicago's Skyline will always be #2 to me after NYC. I am from Miami even within it's downtown core it's still pretty impressive what has happened here in the last 20 years.

Chicago's skyline is a lot more impressive. I go to Miami every year and it has a lot of similar looking condo buildings without a lot of tall height and not many standout buildings.

Chicago still has more by a lot than Miami. Just isn’t building as many right now.

@MyProfilepicture566 Miami only had 6 towers over 500+ feet/ 152+ meters in 1999. It currently has 62 towers of that height or taller with another 18 Under construction.

Houston's Commercial growth...Economic growth in general has slowed dramatically....Most of that, I would assume is post 2010

As far as skyline (high-rises/skyscrapers) growth in the current cycle (2021-2025) Austin has literally supplanted both Dallas and Houston in terms of number of towers and height of towers being built. That trend is not showing any signs of slowing. Houston is still trending ahead of Dallas .
