Great list! Portrait of a Lady is so unique, and it last forever on the skin and clothes. Most of Frederic Malle’s fragrances I know are very potent. Iris Poudre also leaves a nice powdery trail. I love your number one also: Dior Homme parfum is gorgeous and pleasant! Have a nice Sunday!

My go to beast mode is MFK Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum! One spray is enough for a whole room to realise and ppl usually ask what perfume I use and all the compliments I received said I smell like a rich masculine man!

Absolutely love this topic. I am constantly looking for a fragrance that fills a room. You have given me many to look for. The biggest sillage fragrances in my house are Portrait of a Lady, Lancôme Oud Bouquet , Oud Satin Mood and Amouage Bracken for women. My wife wears them liberally and I can smell what she has on as soon as I get out of the car after wor. The entire house smells of the grass all day.

I can back up Layton Exclusif as leaving a trail. I put two sprays of Iso E Super and 2 sprays on the neck of exclusif and I left a trail in a big room. A person asked me what I was wearing. He said he smelled me when he walked in the room. Very good fragrance.

I can definitely attest to Carlisle ! The strength doesn’t fully expose in the opening. It actually gets stronger and stronger over the initial few hours on my skin. I leave trails even in the outdoors w/ the wind blowing. .... one day I’ll be able to afford a FB of Portait of a Lady - i love it ! ... and yes DHP is so lovely! 😎 I actually just gave it my first full wearing yesterday evening while attending a boxing 🥊 match. I didn’t get a compliment but it didn’t matter because I was enjoying it especially once it fully dried down. Wow !

All very expensive frags from great niche houses. Except the LV and Dior that are designer frags. I cannot justify for myself to buy these “beasts”because I have studying kids. Sometimes I buy a decant tester. But my beast is Ted Lapidus Homme. After 15 years I bought a new bottle recently. And man, what a wonderful strong beast that is. Not as strong as the original formulation but still heavenly strong. Could smell it for days after showering. Price: 16,50 Euro. So I am happy. Hi Sebastian, recently I bought Incident Diplomatique, when I visited a lovely perfumery in Bologna. Thank you for the inspiration! I underestimated the strength of it the first time I wore it to work (5 sprays). No colleague really comments on what I wear, but my boss said I must have 'bathed in perfume'.

Fantastic video.I do own and love Portrait of a Lady , but unfortunately the sillage is not that good on my skin.Also the newest formulation of Tobacco Vanille are not on pair with vintage pre-Estee Lauder .Even smell is not the same like my 2010 bottle. SOTD is Laudano Nero by Tiziana Terenzi
