It's a very old game, probably one of the first 4X games ever, I'd love to hear your thoughts on Koei's Bandit Kings of Ancient China. I used to play it on an Amiga 2000. Amazing depth for a late 80's/early 90's game.

@@KeimpeJ I also knew quite a few games on the list. But I'd argue none of them can be compared in terms of IP fame to Age of Wonders. And even Old World, while not an old and beloved IP like AoW, is arguably bigger and most famous than any of the games in the video. Distant Worlds maybe closer, but it is still, probably, not as famous.
