Johnny can play and is very very deserving of player lists. One definitely should be on this list. It should be in Sweet Childs place. I am not a great guitarist but sweet child is moderate difficulty while One is very advanced especially how Mr Hammet backs the rhythm up in the middle of the solo to just show off. Its very very very hard to play correctly.

This list is most definitely missing the awesome solo of Prince slaying his guitar during the 2004 Rock n Roll Hall of Fame video. His unique style, iconic contribution, and damn good riff during “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” is ultimate Prime Prince at his best! I feel it’s worth the risk because a lot of people are unaware of the talent and genius that was/is Prince. I feel blessed to have been able to experience his mind blowing talent in concert…January 5th, 1998 - Jam Of The Year Tour. Absolutely one of my treasured memories…(I still have the playlist and ticket stub.) A 3 hour wait outside in the freezing cold to buy tickets the morning they became available to purchase. Still worth it and would do it again if only he was still with us!! I’m looking forward to the concert that I’m planning on attending when I get to Heaven! All of the Greats jamming together!!! It’s so sad thinking of all the great talent that we’ve lost… It’s almost hard to even imagine, but I hope there will still be tickets available for that event when my it’s my time to go!!! 🤞💜👍🎸🕺🏽

YES!!! I know the band got a lot of flack cuz of axl (some rightly so), but the band is amazing. A.F.D. was a cassette that I ruined 5 times over. I've seen them live twice after slash and Duff came back and they were great. And I think Chinese democracy was a great album. Deserves more love than it got.

Randy Rhoads for me, had his life tragically cut way too short like Jimi. But, he was next level and we definitely only got a glimpse of what he had to give. Fuck that prick who flew the plane! Kree Nakorie is by far my favorite yngwie solo, I love hos it juxtaposes his warp speed shredding with the slower tempo of the song at the beginning than builds until it transitions into an amazing melodic climax that blends perfectly into the song.

As a guitarist who loves and has learned a number of these solos (Stairway, Comfortably Numb, November Rain, Bohemian Rhapsody, Sultans, Watchtower, Beat It, Hotel California, Crossroads) I was definitely happy to see this list, also massive props for including Dogs. One of my favourite Floyd songs and definitely has some of David's best playing. As for guitarists that inspired me, the first guys that inspired me to pick it up when I was a kid were George Harrison of The Beatles (in terms of "rhythmic" playing), Eddie Van Halen (in overall speed and just doing cool stuff in general) and David Gilmour (in terms of emotive playing and melodicism) but over the years I got into a lot more of my favourite players like Angus Young, SRV, Alex Lifeson, Chuck Berry, Pete Townshend, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck and Kirk Hammett

The Stairway solo is OK, but it's not even Page's best solo and there are many that should be above it. Stairway is definitely one of the greatest songs ever written, the structure, tempo and mood changes, the building crescendo...genius, and the solo fits the song perfectly, but that doesn't mean it should be on the list.
