Beat pre-nerf radahn with a cold infused Milady after a combined 27 hours of attempts. It was the first boss that ever made me think “this might be harder than Isshin”

Ayy fellow Rahdan pre nerf fighter. I was over leveled and it didn’t take me that long but it took me damn near an hour of constantly getting absolutely wrecked. It was always towards the end of the fight too, id go in to finally kill him and get obliterated by his spinning or id mess up and get nuked by the meteor coming outta nowhere. Even when I finally beat him it was once of those wins that was just by the skin of my teeth.

He was easy if you get all of the scadtree or whatever theyre called, I was doing it with 13 scadtree and he was unbeatable, but with 20 he was way more manageable

I beat pre Nerf Radahn with bloody helice n no summons, spamming the dynast's finesse.. definitely one of the hardest boss fights but I took longer on Ishin back in the day.. hard to choose 1 over the other

Imagine if they never nerfed Radahn for the release version of the dlc. Pre-release Radahn was actually much harder than pre-nerf radahn. I'm not joking either. They cut out a whole combo set from the fight and changed up certain moves on top of changing the lighting of the fight to what we have now. The pre-nerf Radahn we fought was actually easier than the og. If u don't believe me, go watch FightingCowoy's Let's play ep44. You'll see all the moves in his fight that they changed. I honestly they didn't cut out the combo set cos it looked so cool.

Ds1 is not the most fair game, its restrictive and punishes the player a lot with tedious runbacks. Fair was never the point of those games, and it was redditors and youtubers who made it the whole point while miyazaki never mentioned it. Elden has the best bosses in the series

@@anonisnoone6125 you forgot that Fromsoft also gives the player all the tools to overcome the bullshits they put in ER especially in SOTE. Use buffs, spirit summon, coop, consumables, ashes of war, etc.. The player also can be as over the top as the bosses if they know what to do.

kinda he has a lot of move set, but the dodge system of BMW not work to punish player a lot, very easy to get multiple perfect dodge. and "seeing through" by using smash stance is nearly enough to beat Erlang. But yes, should be a spot for him. also for the Wukong Boss.

I beat Consort Radahn 3 times pre nerf (first time I beat him took me about 36 attempts, Malenia took me 43 the first time), I struggled more against Messmer. I've beaten Malenia about 9 times. I beat post nerf Radahn yesterday as of writing this for the first time, the nerf definitely made a difference, but he was still hard, took me about 23ish tries (he was also on ng+ 7 scaling)

I found Messmer quite easy spamming him with the reduvia's R2 and ice spear. Consort Radahn took me fucking DAYS to beat him.

messmer took me about 15 tries with dual nagakibas, consort radahn took me around 300+ deaths, 60ish in-game hours, and 8 re-specs. eventually ending up with blood jump dual godskin peeler build. i truly wanted to give up because i'm getting constant 5fps framedeath on every light attack in second phase 🤦‍♂

@@jasonlateau Percentage based damage does wonders against him, I used Godskin Peeler with it's Black Flame Tornado ash of war. Which pretty much nullifies the massive health boost he get's when you summon Ansbach &/or Thiollier. Tree Sentinel Armour is also in my opinion the best armour for him since it has good physical defences & I think the highest Holy resist in the game, which is quite good for Phase 02.

I just fought Erlang the Sacred Divinity from Black Myth Wukong and I definitely think he should be high on this list. I would say he is considerably harder than Sword Saint Isshin and on par with Consort Radahn in terms of difficulty.

Totally agree. Isshin is easier than a number of Soulsborne fighters IMO. Definitely hard, but less overall attempts than plenty of other bosses, and he was straightup not bad second time around. But everyone has their own experience with From bosses TBH, which is why these arguments always pop up.

All their attacks have timings and counters that make sense (except for Phase 2 Midir laser but if you just stay close to him he won't use it). Meanwhile some Elden Ring bosses don't give a fuck and will spam you with bullshit garbage. Isshin isn't even the hardest boss in Sekiro

Black knife tiche or mimic tear just face tanking every hit letting her regen all the health I had just depleted was so frustrating I just learned the fight solo and eventually killed her . . She’s still prob the 2nd hardest in the game . .

In my opinion, if you were to fight iceborne fatalis solo, the first kill would be harder than killing pre-nerf consort radahn the first time (and I'm talking no cheese as in normal elden ring build and no abusing plunder blade and wall bangs to get fatalis armor and weapons early to kill em)

There's no way Gna is harder than Singrun. There's a specific build designed to take out Gna in less than a minute. Beating Sigrun is a battle of attrition no matter the build

IIRC, Absolute Virtue was designed with a specific strategy to beat; however, it required precision to a degree that any ping would basically prevent it. The problem was, SE only tested it in-house, basically plugged into the server, so they didn't account for the possibility of ping in the design.

Laxasia was harder for me than some of those you listed between her and Malenia. This is a pretty objective list. I also felt Simon Manus and Nameless Puppet were harder than Laxasia but Manus specifically because of camera angles and excessive AOE attacks.

Yeah you hit the head on the nail. Manus and NP are honestly much harder than Laxasia. You can perfect guard her lightning projectiles very easily and do a lot of damage to her pretty much for free. PLUS you get a specter. No aid on Manus or NP.

Beating pre-nerf Radahn without Summons or op builds was the first time I was actually scared of a boss. There was a time where I was almost no-hitting the first phase but would just die instantly in the second one. Never before have I felt so hopeless while fighting a boss

And sure they might change replace some bosses on the list, but it’s very noticeable that this list is just being repeated when certain bosses like Raven Beak keep getting on the list. While playing DS3 for the second time, I defeated sister friede on my first attempt in that playthrough. That fight is much more about strategy than skill, since you can easily stay away from her attacks

Fatalis is on the top for me. I have never beaten him solo and I still struggle with 4 top tier hunters. Pre patch Consort Radahn was a cake walk compared to Fatalis. Compared to other souls bosses, he's at the top for sure though

God of War, God of Ragnarok and Elden Ring are the most difficult games ive fully completed. I recently finished Dark Souls 3 but i couldnt be arsed to fight Midir. Sigrun was the hardest of them all. It took me weeks to finally beat her on Give me God of War difficulty. Mastering that game was an amazing experience.

I actually just beat Balteus yesterday. Got him on my first try, actually. Was incredibly surprised when I killed it. Also killed the OG version of PC Radahn. He was hard as nails. Only boss I've ever fought that left me speechless with how quickly I died.

I imported Demon's Souls back in '09. I got enough training over the years. Consort Radahn pre-nerf was the kind of fresh level of challenge that I was hoping for in the DLC. Beat him without a single buff or item or physick... No magic no shield no summons... just my trusty backhanded swords and time. Took almost 50 tries, but the last minute of my last attempt was absolutely pure cinema. I feel bad for those who don't get to fight him pre-nerf. Robbed of such an amazing fight. 2nd best boss I ever fought, only bested by Sekiro's SS Ishin.

Okay WatchMojo, this is getting ridiculous. We get that Raven Beak from Metroid Dread is a hard boss, but the amount of times you are putting him on the list is frankly too much. That’s like saying Overlorder from the Splatoon 3 Side Order DLC is a hard boss because it is a roguelike DLC. And I’m talking about Overlorder as an example because I fought Overlorder 12 times in order to reconfigure all 12 weapons obtainable in the Side Order DLC and I didn’t find Overlorder hard. Sure, when you fight bosses multiple times, they usually gain new attacks, but Overlorder only has 6 attacks with attack 1 firing out slow globs of ink, attack 2 firing out a trio of Sting Ray lasers, attack 3 is spawning Jellotons from his mouth, attack 4 is a barrage of Reefsliders, attack 5 is a barrage of Super Chumps, and attack 6 is hitting Agent 8 with his tentacles. But what can be hard about Overlorder is the Palette you are using and what Color Chips you have in said Palette. Like if you’re using Marie’s Palette (Order Charger), you’re going to want to keep on the move because you can’t stay in one place for very long, otherwise you’ll get hit by his attacks. And the hardest part of Overlorder is fighting him with Eight’s Palette (Octo Shot) with no hacks, because Eight’s Palette is resistant to hacking, reducing the amount of Color Chips that can be in the Palette by 6, and unlike the first 11 Palettes, if you get taken out or give up in the Spire of Order with Eight’s Palette, you can’t retry from where you left off, so you have to do the Spire of Order with Eight’s Palette in one go to get the Octo Shot Replica for multiplayer battles. Now how many tries did you think it took me to get through the Spire of Order with Eight’s Palette with no hacks? 10? 20? 30? The answer is 4 tries, and my 4th try was my winning attempt. And when I got to Overlorder on my 4th try with Eight’s Palette with no hacks, I was nervous because I knew that if I failed, I would have to start the whole run all over again. But I was able to beat Overlorder with Eight’s Palette with no hacks on my fourth try in the Spire of Order with Eight’s Palette with no hacks because I had memorized all of Overlorder’s attacks, kept on the move, destroyed his tentacles that also double as portals to bring down the shield around his body, and pummeled him. Again, I used Overlorder as an example of a boss that seems hard but you can have an easy time against because there are people that have had an easy time against Raven Beak.

My tangent is to make an example that a boss that might seem hard could actually be really easy for some people. @@Tyboom3 Well if you’re not going to read my whole tangent, I’ll shorten it. So I used Overlorder as an example because I fought him 12 times and not once did I find him hard. The thing that can be hard about Overlorder is the Palette you are using and the Color Chips you have in said Palette. Like when you use a Charger in multiplayer in the Splatoon games, you’re mainly staying in one spot and sniping enemy players. Not possible to do in the fight with Overlorder if you’re using the Order Charger because you’ve got attacks coming and you want to stay on the move. And by the time of my 12th fight with Overlorder, the one where it was my fourth try going through the Spire of Order with Eight’s Palette with no hacks, I had memorized all of Overlorder’s attacks. So Raven Beak is the same way.

Dr. Kahl's robot was indeed hard but after realizing which parts you should take out 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the first phase the fight becomes very manageable. I easily beat him on expert after that. Wally Warbles on expert however is a different story, he's incredibly frustrating to fight. I would have included some Nioh/Nioh 2 bosses as those games have some tough ones as well. Also, if we're talking about century I would have included Urban Reign. It might be an underrated game but it has some very tough bosses, especially on very hard like for example Golem. Oh and how could I forget Viewtiful Joe and the Magnificent 5 boss rush *shivers*

It Took me about 1 hour 30 mins to beat Radahn summon-less with no cheese, about 30 mins for Isshin. maybe 3 hours for Malenia. Yet, on Critical, it took me around 6 hours to beat Yozora, around 4 for Master Xehanort, around 2 for Saix and Xion, and basically all the other ones minus Young Xehanort were around 30 min to an hour. Remind is definetly the hardest action game DLC i know of.

You forgot to mention Absolute Radiance in Hollowknight is only reachable after fighting 40 other bosses back to back and if you die you have to fight them all again to get another shot.

As a fun fact: I'm currently on a challenge: I've chosen 5 games that are known for their super hard bosses. Once I reach/unlock such a boss, I don't fight it, but leave it and wait for the "finals" Once I unlock all the bosses, I'll fight them all and see how hard they really are. Games I've chosen: - Cuphead: Main game completed, DLC bosses go to the finale - Guilty Gear Strive: Hard route completed, stage 9 Nagoriyuki will be challenged in the finale. - Eldan Ring: Currently in Nokron, Malenia and the DLC will be in the finale - Shin Megami Tensi V Vengence: 45 hours in. All 6 Super Bosses will be in the finale. - Thouhou Fantastic Danmaku Festival: 1CC on Easy, the extra stage with Scarlet Flaudre will be in the finale. I think Scarlet Flaudre will be the hardest, but time will show if I am righ.

@ I have no idea sadly since World was my first Monster Hunter game but I know a lot of Monster Hunter players that say World is a great game but a bad Monster Hunter so it seems to be different from the usual Monster Hunter games And in my opinion MHW is one of the greatest games ever, I can tell you as much that you cant expect more than an exploration and „boss rush“ game from it tho

As for Fatalis: I like to fight bosses "blind" and find my own way of beating them, so it will probably be solo (because I don't use summons), but as for equipement, I think I will just use what I will have. Also, I already have some other candidates to fight on my next challenge. I think about Elizabeth from Persona 3 Reload, Parace L'Shia from Arcane Hearts 3, and Laxasia from Lies of P (this game will probably get DLC by the time I start playing it, and who knows what Beasts they will add to it).

personally I find ishhin to be not as difficult as it is shown as he is very fun to parry and lightning reversal is honestly making the 3rd phase easier than genichiro he might be tough at first but in 10 attempts or so you can do it without a second thought also radhan at first is too real i beat him pre nerf he was annoying AS HELL and i was on ng+7 too

The top 3 considered hardest are my favourite bossfights, Malenia is just amazing to fight and learn. With Isshin i love the story and how the game introduces a new opponent to overcome and putting someone you already fought 2 times. Radahn is honestly not even that bad as everyone said it was pre nerfed. for a dlc final boss i feel like he was very fair.
