Im not surprised that the Cold Steel Katana is not on the list.. but I would love to see a Katana made from T-10 tool steel or 9260 spring steel put to the test Joe X.. I think we all have a pretty good idea now of just how good and durable 1055 Carbon steel is.. thanks to your AWESOME tests!

Id like to say, that as I'm currently attempting to reedge my wobbly gator machete. The big blade destroying anything looks so good. I like your machete and cube videos as much as the ones about knives. You showed us how good the cold steel machetes are for the priece. They outperform machetes, which cost ten times the cold steel machete.

👍 I grew up with a flock of sheep. On average, every day I cut at least 50 branches with an average thickness of 3 to 5 cm. acacia, ash and other wood was used to feed the herd. I made my way through various bushes and often cleared paths in thorns and undergrowth. I was never satisfied with the flat shape of the machete. If it's short, then you have no reach either in height or to the ground, if it's long, then it mostly bothers you. You can't attract something to you with a straight line. The ideal blade is a smaller ax mounted on a longer handle or a blade we call Kosir. Maybe in subtropical areas the machete has advantages, but not for European forests where harder wood prevails. For me personally, the J-shaped blade, or Kosir as we call it in Istria and Croatia, is ideal. The smaller one mounted on a 120 cm handle worked best for me. Unless there is a zombie apocalypse, I personally will never pick up a machete again, but I will gladly watch Joe break them down into simple factors. My recommendation is to get yourself a smaller carpenter's ax and forget about machetes.

You need to be cloned so we have a back up. That was unimaginable wear and tear you suffered while producing these incredible videos. It also wouldn't hurt to produce a "mini-you" to run tests on those small pockets knives I so desperately want to see tested, like the Grik and 1911. I understand you don't want to test them in your current "maxi you" incarnation since all we'd have then, would be five minutes to destruction videos, you'd overwhelm them too quickly. At least machetes challenge you a little.
