What’s something you would recommend to new moms? 💖

Bottle feeding mums - the machine that figures it all out for you. SO HANDY for at night and I was dead set against it.

And crutches if you need it! I couldn't sit on a bus without intense pain.

I saw your last video and the bit about the Doona haha want to encourage you that I didn’t find it too heavy when putting it into the car, even with the baby inside. It’s such a brief transition. And I’m 4’11” and my boy was always in the 75+ percentile range in height/weight 😂 so don’t stress about that. We used it for him from 3 months until nearly 18 when he finally outgrew it, we love it. And I also never found that, even though it does function as both car seat and stroller, they never stayed in it over the 2 hour limit. There was always some reason to pull him out or transition or something, so non-issue. We splurged on it when we decided to fly to my family in Brazil with him when he was 3 months old! It was a dream going through the airport and in/out of cars with it. We’re from the US too, and truly in Brazil vehicles we were in just had less space, so this was great as a car seat that you could fasten with only a seatbelt (truly we found that easier than using the base) and not take up additional space in anyone’s trunk for a stroller we might need. We cruised through my family’s beach town with it easily. Never looked back! Worth the cost for all that.

I have definitely learned my lesson “never say never.” 😆🤦‍♀️ That sounds awesome! It seems like it worked out so well for you. We may travel outside the country, so that will be super helpful. Thanks for sharing your experience. It’s helpful to hear firsthand experiences.

Yesi! Please look up the new guidance for Mastitis that came out in 2022/2023. They are now encouraging ICE rather than heat. The guidance changed right as i had my baby and after having mastitis myself a few times using oce changed everything!! 👏

I was thinking the same thing - heat just prior to nursing to release milk/ducts, but ice if you’re not and just need that decrease in inflammation

@priscillamariekleven Yeah specifically for mastitis the AAP changed the guidance because they thought mastitis was just clogs but it's inflammation of the ducts. You want to reduce inflammation by icing and with ibuprofen. Highly encourage anyone reading this who plans or is breastfeeding to check out the AAP's guidance on it.

Gasp! 😮 This is definitely new info to me. I felt SO much relief from heat. I’ll have to look into that. Thanks for sharing.

@YesiIbarra Absolutely! And I can definitely say there were instances where I had clogs and heat helped a lot with relief! But after having mastitis multiple times I definitely want to share any info I have! We Moms have to stick together and help each other just like you have helped us! I love all your videos and this was perfection! I had no idea that a diaper clutch existed so it's going on my wish list for my next kiddo! ❤️
