@@phlack1001 It's not bad. They've been making updates to that mod since the last platform update, you have to install a crapload of files and they keep adding more. Combat is not anywhere near as good as 3rd person, imo, but you can switch back and forth either manually or auto. You'll have to watch a how-to and have an hour with a clear mind to get it right. Also it's titled Gerald (or something close) not Geralt. took me a while to figure that out.

And what’s wrong with that 🤣 They need to create revenue before releasing actual gameplay. They can’t magically make a game without money. It’s much easier to make a 2min trailer rather than make the code certain elements of the game just to showcase it ( you can’t just create a character and a small section of map to showcase… that’s simply not how coding works. They need to create far more elements which takes time lil bro )

These games look amazing, but the only thing most have in common with Skyrim is the setting. I love Skyrim because I can play it with an older video card (GTX 1660) and the plethora of mods that add new content and quests keep it fresh and looking damn good for it's age. I think Bethesda's delay says a lot about them not being able to surpass their OG game. At least they're enabling some of these genius mod authors to make some money for their work now.

Skyrim is far from Bethesda's OG game. It is the 5th in the Elder Scrolls series, not counting spin-offs like Redguard.

It sold 3.5 million copies on the day of it's release and has gone on to sell 60 million copies as of 2023 according to Tod Howard head of Bethesda Game Studio. Which puts Skyrim in the top 10 video games in sales of all time. Skyrim has outsold ALL of Bethesda's fallout series combined and it isn't even close. If you take say an average price of $45 (it's been on sale cheap several times) then factor in the DLC sales that still comes out to 2.7 BILLION dollars in sales give or take a few 10's of millions.

@@giolighter8588 Don't get me wrong, I really like open-world games. But every now and then I prefer a good (A)RPG with with a smaller but more detailed world and a more cinematic plot. Dark Messiah worked so well because you could immerse yourself in the world, but not lose yourself in it and in countless side quests or in "just taking a quick look at what's over the next hill". World size and narrative density don't always go together so well and open worlds are often very generic. That's why I would like to have titles for _both_ on offer.

Еще была неизбежная "чистка", когда по прошествию действий игрока, приходила атага, которая разбирала все нажитое)). Было интересно. Fable seems to be the only one standing out to me out of the regular. Also the Elder Scroll 6 is placed here strategically , hopefully Bethesda is watching and gives next game sooner... been waiting now for 13 years.

They do look look. My biggest question is, considering the engines used, will these be moddable? If there's one thing we've learned from Skyrim (and other games, like Factorio) is that easily moddable games do tend to be more successful. The developers can't think of everything...so that's where mods come in. We're still playing Skyrim because of mods.

To this day skyrim was my favorite game. I upgraded my pc a few years ago, but the hardest thing to let go of was my skyrim. Anyone who spent months modding their game to get it just the way they liked it.. you know my pain. But ya.. some of these cinematics look pretty cool, but.. I don't think there will ever be another game that has such a huge variety of amazing mods.

there is a limit in graphics, after which the kindness and interestingness of the games is lost.Because the realism is no longer interesting or cute.If the graphic implementation is not realistic, then it really gives a new interestingly realized fairy tale world,but the realism gives only reality,of course, the realism is also interesting, but it is already too serious and the adventure is certainly more stressful for the psyche, especially in VR

lol 1st one was the best one. Pretty much proves my long held statement that the gaming industry is dying because they REFUSE to prioritize gameplay over graphics. They WILL die on that hill even though Minecraft is the most high populated game at the moment and something crazy like 300 million+ players. These games look pretty but they play mechanically AWFUL. They will fail. Alkahest is by far the best because of the animations and what you can do. It plays like the Witcher 3 and Dark Messiah Might and Magic had a baby. LOVE it. I normally don't care for weeb games but Night Crow ACTUALLY looks good and has the pretty neat esthetic. Its niche but it works.Ill probably try that one too. If that Gothic 1 trailer is actual gameplay then I would put it at a nice 2nd place behind Alkahest. For 3rd MAYBE Vindictus/Night Crow, the rest of these either have no gameplay or have terrible pacing and animations.

Also : ° Dragonkin (10:30) is no Skyrim-like but rather Hack'n Slash Diablo-like (isometric perspective). ° Dragon Age: the Veilguard (13:59) should be more of a Dragon Age-like (not 1st person medieval fantasy RPG) ° Night Crows (24:58) is a 3rd person ARPG so nothing like Skyrim (but the medieval fantasy global setting), as well as Soulframe ° Greedfall 2 (32:24) is a 3rd person RPG so nothing like Skyrim (not even the setting - america's colonization) ° Titan Quest 2 (35:15) should be like the first opus, a CRPG so nothing like Skyrim (not even the setting - mythological/antique) ° Vindictus: Defying Fate (37:48) is a 3rd person ARPG so nothing like Skyrim (but the medieval fantasy global setting) Otherwise, the list is great as it features only games that look to be right up my alley.
