Just found your channel and this video is such an amazing comprehensive list. Perfect timing as I’m planning a trip to St George and I’ve only passed through St George on my way to Zion. Watching other videos, it’s obvious you did alot of research and know what you’re talking about. Thank you so much. I’m so happy to have found your channel.

1:56 Dixie Rock is part of Pioneer Park that is covered later in the video. Pioneer Park also has a nice small botanical gardens area, as well as some cool remnants of a shelter i believe built by early settlers.

For anyone interested in going to the yant flats trail! I went and didn’t realize there were cliffs with steep roads. We were in a truck and almost slid off the side a couple times. Be careful!

My wife and I are driving from Las Vegas to Kanab on November 2nd....we thinking of stopping for lunch in St. George for lunch....we were looking for short hikes to stretch legs and break up drive ....we were gonna stop by red reef trl , cause she really wants to see Dino tracks on silver Reef trl, but if you had to recommend 1 quicker place to see, what would u suggest? I was thinking of Jenny's Canyon, because we were going to hike the Narrows later in the week at Zion, but those would be the only slot canyons we would see. Loved the info and great shots and tips...thanks!

Wonderful. Only ever done an overnight stay in St George on my way to Moab. Had no idea there was so much to do and see in the area. I only ventured to La Verkin Overlook. Utah remains my favourite destination for amazing scenery.

Kevin; Thanks for a great review of St. George. I have been to all of these except Church Rock. I will definitely hike there when it cools off. Toroweap another great in So. Utah / Arizona. 60 mile dirt road so need 4 wheel drive and heavy duty tires. Th best place to photograph Grand Canyon.

Hi Kevin, your videos are amazing! I had a question, Are drones allowed in these state and national parks for the aerial views?
@KevinEassa5 ай бұрын
National parks they are not allowed. State parks you need to get a permit but in my experience they’re relatively easy to get!

Unfortunately this town is growing out of control. The streets are full of traffic and the majority of newcomers are from California.

I disagree. We just moved here from California and it's not bad at all. Been here a few months now and we love it!

I moved here 9 years ago from the Bay Area and it’s sad how much the place has grown…we came to a small town that now has a huge 200+ acre resort being built in our back yard. 🙁. So much for dark skies and what *was* a rural community.
