Strong welds are from doing Vertical UP in a continues pine tree pattern not Vertical Down not a good practice. Looks as though you need to up your amps a bit to get better penetration. Welding Tips and Tricks on KZbin has a lot of good info all styles of welding.

ONE HUGE MISTAKE . 6:28 You have to FLIP the workpiece and secure the back side BEFORE the other side is fully welded. secure means tack welds on ALL sides ,Otherwise the workpiece will bend. As you can see it does bend

Надо бы уточнять. Если металл покрыт оцинковкой то,сваривать в помещении не желательно. Или надо мощная вытяжка. При сварке газы цинка ОЧЕНЬ ВРЕДНЫЕ.. Все газы горения вредные. Но ,цинковые самые опасные

You’re right. A proper weld should be continuous and strong, rather than a series of tacks. Tacking is just the initial step to hold parts in place before performing the final welding pass. For a strong and durable weld, make sure to complete the weld with a continuous bead.

@@TrendDIY Haha I made my millions in the 80s and 90s and took early retirement. My next major project is trying to design something small enough to fit in a coffin that is capable of scaling the walls of Heaven. I'm not sure God lets welders in? Thanks for the videos. Might wont to tone down that easy millions part? lol We have to make our own fun, we can depend on someone else to entertaining us. 😁

2:40 thats some pretty bad welding. You're fired. I'm assuming thats flux core? There is not shield gas getting to the tacks. Outside of that, the idea is great.
