WatchMojo, can you please do a list on Top 10 Most CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED ACTORS that don't get enough spotlight? Here's the list of Actors and Actress you should really start talking about instead of doing the same people over and over again because honestly? It's getting annoying! So here's my list... 10: Julianne Nicholson 9: Gil Bellows 8: Matt Murray 7: Warren Christie 6: Iliy Ray 5: Lydia Paxton 4: ? 3: Bill Paxton 2: Tyler Matthew Young and 1: James Paxton I cannot stretch this enough but you guys don't talk about Bill Paxton at all! Sure he wasn't as popular, famous, or overrated as some other big named celebrities but he's an Actor who deserves more credit and I think it's very rude of you not to even pay tribute to him, so I highly recommend you guys doing this list right now!

When I was growing up, I had a bit of a crush on Jeanette McCurdy, but after reading her book twice, I gained a newfound respect for her, and don’t blame her at all for leaving business behind with the exception of some podcast appearances. Would love to meet her one day and get her autograph on my copy of her book.

Jeanette McCurdy has such a compelling story, and it’s great to see how she’s found her voice beyond acting. Her honesty in that book really resonates with a lot of fans. If you did get to meet her, what’s one question you’d love to ask her?

Jennette McCurdy did the right thing by leaving her Nickelodeon days behind her, and while she only hints at Dan Schneider, exposing him in her memoir _I’m Glad My Mom Died,_ whose title is quite suggestive in the fact that it’s something I dare not say, was a brave move.

I tried to read a paper that Danica McKellar co-authored, but it was about 8 floors over my head. Wonderful to see any celebrity taking interest in STEM fields. I can imagine inactive actors with a satisfying day job now enjoying the occasional acting gig now, with little of the stress inherent in long-term TV series. ~ just remembered: from one of my favorite shows Parker Lewis, I understand the memorable Troy Slaten went into law.

Not to mention, Frankie Muniz recently appeared on unscripted shows like "Name That Tune" and "I Can See Your Voice," as well rare appearances on scripted shows such as "Criminal Minds". We still need to see Frankie Muniz popping up as a contestant in later seasons of "The Masked Singer," but he doesn't know when yet. BTW, other TV stars who left fame behind did we missed: Jorge Garcia Zachary Ty Bryan Ian Somerhalder Orlando Brown Caroline Sunshine etc.

An older example that comes to mind is John P Navin Jr. Anyone who watched tv in the early to mid 80s would be able to recognize him. He was the "go to" teen actor for a few years and made memorable appearances on Cheers (the first patron in the pilot who Sam refuses to serve because he's underage), Silver Spoons, The Facts Of Life and Gimme A Break before getting his own starring role in Jennifer Slept Here. He also made some movie appearances in Taps, Losin It and as the bop your bologna kid in Vacation. After working steadily as a teen he left acting practically overnight and moved back east. He keeps an incredibly low profile with only a couple photos to surface of him as an adult, from what I read he owns a catering business in Jersey now and rarely tells people that he was that kid on Cheers and Vacation

Number 4 is completely wrong. The kid from the Tim Allen show actually disappeared from Hollywood after he got into a relationship with a woman in her 30's while he was only 15 years old. She tried to have a kid with him sometime around his seventeenth birthday, but found out she couldn't have kids when she wasn't getting pregnant. She had taken so much advantage of him over the span of like 4 to 5 years. I think things got complicated when he no longer resembled the cute slender teenager he once was, along with the Hollywood movie running out. It's a sad story, but they made a whole documentary about it.
@stephaniesmith1086Ай бұрын
No you are wrong, that was the younger brother Taran Noah Smith not Jonathon Taylor Thomas. Taran was 17 and married a 32 year old, he also sued his parents. You have the kids mixed up. The kid who olayed oldest brother has had multiple run in with the law. Jonathan was the only one who basically had no issues just didn't want to be a star anymore and wanted an education. You have them mixed up
