Thank you for featuring DIY Detail Rinseless Wash. For our Rinseless wash, keep all dilutions at 256/1 ( 4ml to a litre). Only as a detail spray, or prep wipe do you want a more concentrated solution with DIY Detail Rinseless Wash. When foaming in a foam cannon or pump sprayer adjust to get the level of foam you desire. You can use more for other applications, but it’s a waste of product, and can cause streaking.

Super interesting video Pan! I love the versatility of these products! Thank you! I’ve used both ONR and Absolute and love using both! Absolute is amazing on windows to clean the road salt in winter! Pan thank you for taking the time to put this video together. All of these products are great but the product which I buy is DIY! The first time using DIY I washed the vehicle first and then the wheels and tires. The water was dark after the wheels so it was time to have fun. I placed a microfiber towel in the bucket and rang it out then cleaned the windows. The windows turned out crystal clear after drying the windows with another microfiber towel even though the water in the bucket was dark. This was the moment where I knew the DIY rinseless was special. For my quartz countertops in the kitchen 256:1 cleans up spills and keeps the stainless steel smudge and fingerprint free. When using the foam cannon I add between 2 to 3 ounces depending on what the vehicle is telling me. When polishing if the polish/compound is oily I grab paint prep but for a compound like the gold standard 256:1 works great and gives me peace of mind about marring. Thank you for another great video!

How I love using rinse-less wash is post wash in the door jams or anywhere a part of the car would be closed normally during the wash (doors, trunks/rear hatch/rear window panels, fuel door, hood). I open everything up and use this clean all those areas up so the full car is clean! I just spray and use one towel to wipe away the solution and dirt and another towel to dry the area to touch.

I don’t have a foam cannon, but when I wash with water I always spray the car down with my normal rinse less wash mixture from the sprayer and let it soak for a minute or so before my pre-rinse with my pressure washer. It’s amazing how much pre-work the rinse less wash does before I even start, after watching this I might try upping that mixture.

Thx a lot for this video Pan! i use my car cleaning products and methods to clean several things: I cleaned the fence. it's iron fence and i thought that the fence is like my car. I olso cleaned the windows and the windows bars. Another use: i cleaned the entrance door of the building, it's made of aluminum and glass - that was great! the quality of this cleaning was high - Even the neighbor's daughter (8 years old) said that the door of the building looks "awesome". i use Sonax shampoo diluted 1 ounce to 1 gallon

Here in Belgium too. Solar panels, roofs, cars, all yellow and it is really early in the season for that. The rain rinses it and leaves a beautiful coat of Sahara sand dust. But the graphene spray wax really makes it easy to just rinse with the RODI water at the car wash. 50 cents and its acceptably clean in 120 seconds.

I use absolute cause they are local to me in the Bay Area. I pair it with Rag company Wolf pack microfiber towels @480 gsm I find it’s the best for rinseless wash. I only need one gallon diluted 256:1 and I also use the same dilution in a Marolex 2000 pump sprayer for pre treatment. Each of the 9 Wolf pack towel I fold to use 8 sides so I get 72 passes just once can clean my entire 2 door Cayman. I use separate microfiber towels for wheels only. For door jams I use another sprayer diluted 64:1. Takes less then an hour from start to finish only using one gallon of water approximately.

I do a hybrid wash now. p&s break buster for tires, pre-rinse w/ adam's car shampoo snow foam/ pressure washer, 2 bucket clean with UBF sponge/ no rinse solution, and dry with gauntlet microfiber towels. When i first started watching your videos 9 mo ago, it took me like 2.5 hrs to hand wash my glc, now it's down to 45 minutes with better results! Using a good cleaning snow foam for the pre-wash like this: bit.ly/3d9kMgt And a pressure washer to rinse really helps to get in hard to reach places. You can also use a soft detailing brush to agitate: amzn.to/3TnYUOU You can see how I do that in many videos, including this one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qmirdHWJi9OcsK8

Great video Pan! I started using Rinseless many years ago , and have tried many. Diy is in my opinion the leader in the industry at the moment. I do find it odd that when Ivan and Dan were at the head of Optimum, dilution ratios were 256/1 for just about every use, now the dilution ratios make ONR super expensive to use for anything other than a wash.
@blakekeeton4151
@blakekeeton4151 Жыл бұрын
I've never used it for more than 256/1. I own my own detailing business and I use 256/1 for interior cleaning, glass cleaning, and rinseless washing and it works great. 6 or 8oz for a window cleaner seems way too excessive for me.

I followed the tip for home cleaners in the video you made about 6-8 months ago. There were various different recipes with vinegar, isopropyl alcohol, etc. Do you find that THOSE cleaners work better around the house or the ONR recipes you included in this video? The ones from the older video worked well for us, especially the stainless steel cleaner because it was such a simple recipe. The granite cleaner works well too. But if you find ONR works even better for daily use around the house, I may give it a try as well. I always had some reservations for using ONR and you went over them briefly in your video when you mentioned avoiding use around food-prep areas.

I use rinseless wash for a spruce up usually 2 - 3 days after my regular wash because after the 2nd day my daily driver it gets really dusty. Its easier and much faster than using the pressure washer because all i'm doing is taking out light dust then after it gets too dirty I do a regular wash. So I switch it up to maintain the shine.

Another use for ONR is as an additive in the windshield washer reservoir. I added 2 ounces to 3 liters, which is about 1:50. I did this both in summer in pure water and in winter as a supplement to an alcohol winter desiccant. My glass has never been as clean as possible, especially in winter.

I've used (and continue to use) the ONR and P&S Absolute diluted 64:1 as a "pre-soak". I take my Jeep off roading, and it gets VERY dirty. To a state that would make many who view Pan's channel cringe. LOL. I spray the painted surfaces with the rinseless wash and let it dwell for a bit to loosen and encapsulate some of the caked on mud and dirt before the initial spray-off. That I do with a garden hose, before I even fire up the power washer, to avoid grinding the dirt into the surface with the high pressure. I'd certainly use the other two products as well, so far I've just used what I already have. Bought a 128oz of the Absolute, so I'm good for a while.
