So, let's look back at some of the previous worst of the year list. Worst film of 2014 is the Ninja Turtles film. Worst film of 2016 is the Ninja Turtles film, "Out of the Shadows". Worst film of 2023 is the Ninja Turtles film, "Mutant Mayhem". Studios, directors, writers, whoever made these films, is it really that hard to get a Ninja Turtles film right?! I'm going to be optimistic and say that you can do a TMNT film right. The people that made these films aren't even trying.

This year was pretty mediocre for films. Indiana Jones was ruined, The Flash was crap, Barbie was crap, TMNT: Mutant Mayhem had baby turtles that looked like toddlers. Honestly, this year couldn't get any worse. However, I did like John Wick 4.

2023 was obviously a mid year in general, but wasn't a great year for movies. Anyways, here's my pick: Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey (Who thought that making a horror film about Winnie the Pooh would be a good idea?) In the Fire (ironic that the film is titled "In the Fire" given the fact that the film's star (Amber Heard)'s career and reputation are in the fire) Dicks: The Musical (It had a pretty good concept about a gender swapped version of The Parent Trap where two identical twin brothers attempt to reunite their divorced parents, but the movie was extremely dumb and unnecessarily vulgar. Plus it got weird with the incest stuff with the twin brothers at the end. I did enjoy the music though.) Ghosted (not to be confused with a British film of the same name that was also released in 2023) House Party (2023 remake) Spider-Man: Lotus (Despite all the controversies going on with the film, the lead actor (Warden Wayne), and the director (Gavin J. Konop), I had some hopes that this movie would've turned out decent as a fan film, but you have literally two hours of Peter Parker/Spider-Man being depressed over Gwen Stacy's death and being too much of a jerk. The most he does in the movie is put a dying kid on an emotional rollercoaster.) Expend4bles Freelance (2023 film) Paint (2023 film) Magic Mike's Last Dance Mafia Mamma Pet Sematary: Bloodlines Infinity Pool Peter Pan & Wendy Zoey 102 (Say what you will about the series' creator Dan Schneider (who wasn't involved in the film since Nickelodeon fired him nearly six years ago), Jamie Lynn Spears, or her former co-star-turned-activist Alexa Nikolas (who also wasn't involved in the film since she has beef with practically all of her former co-stars, including Jamie Lynn and the series' creator Schneider), but this movie was obviously an unnecessary continuation to the Nickelodeon show Zoey 101.) All Fun and Games (2023 film) Baby Blue (2023 Tubi film) Dishonorable mentions: Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (Even though it had a controversial actress (Amber Heard) involved, the movie was still a downgrade to the first Aquaman movie and a disappointing conclusion to the DCEU since the franchise is getting rebooted with the DC Universe with none of the cast from Zack Snyder's films reprising their roles. Even if the DCEU is basically a hit-or-miss franchise, the franchise deserved a better finale than this. Speaking of Amber Heard, since she's no longer playing Mera, it's debatable whether or not her career will move forward after Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. The fact that her previous movie "In the Fire" was panned by both critics and audiences doesn't help her either.) You People Shotgun Wedding White Men Can't Jump (2023 remake) Vacation Friends 2 Your Place or Mine Haunted Mansion (2023 remake) Knights of the Zodiac Spy Kids: Armageddon Left Behind: Rise of the Antichrist After Everything Meg 2: The Trench Insidious: The Red Door The Exorcist: Believer Kids vs. Aliens My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 Mediocre mentions: The Flash (2023 film) (Even though it had another controversial actor (Ezra Miller) involved, I didn't hate the film, but found it to be quite mediocre. I did like most of the performances of the actors, including Sasha Calle, Michael Keaton, Michael Shannon, Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdú, Kiersey Clemons, and Antje Traue, but the film could've turned out better since it had been in development since the late 1980s, long before the DCEU. I do feel bad for most of the cast involved in the film, including the young actor (Ian Loh) who played young Barry Allen in the flashback sequences. Much like Amber Heard, another DCEU star who had also been into legal issues, it's debatable whether or not Ezra Miller's career will move forward since Ezra is no longer playing the Flash and will not reprise the role in the DC Universe. Hard to believe that 2023 would be the end of an era for both actors playing the Flash (Grant Gustin and Ezra Miller).) Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Saltburn The Little Mermaid (2023 remake) Five Nights at Freddy's (2023 film) Cocaine Bear (In my opinion, this was a bit of an improvement over the 2019 Charlie's Angels film that Elizabeth Banks previous directed, but still quite mediocre) Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny 80 for Brady Scream VI Beau is Afraid Jesus Revolution No Hard Feelings Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem Rebel Moon The Marvels Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Shazam! John Wick Chapter 4 is a very disappointed film (I saw it in theatres) and Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is the worst Indiana Jones film of all-time (saw it in theatres and hated it and I had to get the bad taste of The Dial of Destiny out of my mouth by watching Raiders of the Lost Ark and Cop Land).

I Respect your opinion Matt, To Each there Own, I Actually Loved The Meg 2 Great Action, Well Directed & Written, Jason Statham, Cliff Curtis, Page Kennedy, & Wu Jing did a Great Job, I Loved The Expendables 4 Too, Very Underrated, Great Action, Well Directed & Written, Jason Statham, Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Andy García, & 50 Cent did a Great Job, I don't usually care for 50 Cent as an actor, but I thought he was fine in Expendables 4, my Only Issue is I don't like Megan Fox in it cause I don't like her she's a Terrible Actress IMO, but I Still Love The Meg 2 & Expendables 4 those are Solid Sequels & 2 of my Favorites of Statham ❤

2023 was an *ABSOLUTE* crap year for films! Hope 2024 makes up for it! Anyway, here's my pick: The Flash. Antman 3 Oppenheimer (Boring, way too long, egostistical gaslighting and inaccurate trash. It's overrated as hell!) Megan. John Wick 4. The Killer. Boston Strangler. Reptile (this was a *MASSIVE LETDOWN.* Try harder David Fincher!) No One Will Save You (the lead chick was good and the concept was good but the ending really shot the bed with it.). Saltburn (it's well shot, Barry Keoghan was good and I liked Jacob Eldori.. which.. shocker! But shock value it's awful and the film is basically Talented Mr Ripley with white privilege satire). Robots (the only shining positive is seeing Shailene Woodley walk around in a school girl outfit). Shazam Fury of the Gods (bad humor and bad effects. Sorry but Zachary Levi you tried. Freddie was the best part of the film). Deliver Us (starts off decent but it turns into a art house metaphorical manipulative crap at the end). No Hard Feelings (aka groomer crap the film! If the sexes were reversed, then people would turn their heads on and react like normal human beings!). Rebel Moon (no sh*t.. this movie gave me a headache while I was watching it to the point where I had to turn it off). It's A Wonderful Knife (this was just Scream with heavy doses of "THE MESSAGE!" Focus on an *ACTUAL* story than giving us bland stereotypical characters. When the outsider character was more interesting than the lead chick, you know your film sucks!). Maestro (When Bradley Cooper deserves an Oscar for his performance in GOTG Vol 3 then that says something!). Infinity Pool (the best part of the film involved Mia Goth screaming at Alexander Skarsgard at the end. The rest is just a weird kink music video). The River Wild (turned it off after the first five minutes. Go watch the classic!) 65 (Adam Driver and the girl did a good job but the story should've been better). Dead Ringers (Rachel Weisz is fine as hell but dear lord this was just awful!) Honorable Mentions to the dumb asshole films I didn't give a crap about and didn't watch: Scream 6, The Marvels, The Color Purple Remake, You People, Feminist Barbie, Sony's Teenage Dumbass Turtles, Beau is Afraid, Talk to Me, Aquaman 2, Magic Mike 3, Fast X, Indiana Jones and the Dumbass of Disphitery, The Modern Little Mermaid, Wish, Secret Invasion (I tapped out when they killed off Maria Hill and Talos), Exorcist Disbeliever, Skinamarinkrink (or whatever it's called), The Mother (I'm tired of these women empowerment films! Just stop!), The Blind (nobody asked for Duck Dynasty biopic when they lied about who they are in real life) and Bottoms (as someone who took a defense class in college, I couldn't tell you how ridiculous the premise of the film sounds!).

pretty interesting list matt. I was really disappointed with "winnie the pooh." I was hoping to get something more along the lines of "jack frost 1 and 2." I didn't like john wick 3 so I probably wouldn't like john wick 4. I made the argument a long time ago that Indiana jones 5 was going to be one of the biggest bombs of the year, and someone on john campea's channel wanted to argue with me about it. I said harrison ford is too old to play this character, the time period isn't interesting, and both "willow" and "solo" were flops, but the john campea follower insisted I was misinterpreting the evidence. I was optimistic about "the flash" up until I saw the trailer for it. After seeing the trailer my opinion went from it could be the first or second highest grossing dceu film despite having ezra miller as the star to it's probably just going to be a flop. I never did see "the flash" but what I got from it was that it fails at every single thing it tries to do. It doesn't have an interesting story like the animated "flashpoint," there is no scene like the three spidermen scene in "no way home," it is nothing like the tim burton universe so micheal keaton fans will be disappointed, they full around with supergirl's origin so supergirl fans will be disappointed, ben and henry fans will be disappointed, and finally it misses the whole point of what made pattinson's "the batman" popular.
