The funny part is if they made Bison appear taller (like 7' or so with some simple special effects), he would have looked much more intimidating. After all, he's supposed to be one of the tallest characters in the Street Fighter Franchise.

They're wrong about the first movie, though. It wasn't perfect, but it was one of the better video game movie adaptations and was pretty well received by fans of the games. Revelation was pretty bad...but I hate that they tried to claim the first one was, too.

"Making a feature film out of a racing game is essentially about as practical as making one out of a classic board game." Just saying, Clue is a beautiful film. Also, about Sean Bean: I believe that GoldenEye is one of the better 007 films, not only because it's a great film, but because audiences saw Sean Bean die twice (shot in the beginning after "getting caught", and falling off of GoldenEye's satellite, then being crushed by the satellite's falling debris.

Clue was probably among the best because it was based on a mystery game, allowing room for an intriguing mystery. And yeah, there was murder in it but also some really fun comedy. They already got it right when they involved Tim Curry. And even multiple endings befitting the open ended nature of board games. Not only is it a great movie, but even plays a bit with elements of its source material

game movies need not suck! Hitman is stealth , & so is Assassin's Creed, so its a 007 spy vs spy movie narrative. good guys vs the bad guys. Tomb Raider is a female Indiana Jones, the key is not to over Mary Sue it. as Superman has kryptonite to give balance to the story. so with Mortal Kombat, or Double Dragon. its good guy Rocky Balboa meets Cyberpunk bad guys. in the most exotic locations. amazing cosplay, three-dimensional foley sound, with lots of bullet time & complex fighting moves is how you make fighting movies interesting. movie must compensate for the lose of game interactivity. a movie is a passive one or two hr video game cutscen, so make it interesting. IMO.

the 3rd Mortal Kombat film ended up the TV series Mortal Kombat Conquest, had they made that a film, it would of done well at the box office. Many fans prefer Conquest over Annihilation. Next month we have the 3rd Mortal Kombat film. Also, how many times are you going to do this list?

The Problem with Warcraft was, that the Fans expected to much from it. I mean, the Title actually says: Beginning. So, they planned it to be the first of a Series of Films about Wow. This means the developing of the Character's and the Story would have come in the next Films. At least that's what I think. I thought it was a pretty good Movie.

nahh the issue is that they took too much from the start. I think it would have been better to make the first film entirely about the orcs on Draenor to make people actually care about the horde, then a second film about the humans on Azeroth which would portray the inner conflicts before the alliance came to be, then the first war as a third act would have been much better recived by critics and fans alike and leave the door open for the start of a true cinematic universe.

What I really hated about Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, is that it wasnt really FOR anybody. People who dislike the films would still dislike this one, people who like the games will dislike this one, and the people who watched the series and enjoyed them as guilty pleasure movies got shafted as well, because they ret-conned most of the story from the previous movies.

Unpopular opinion in 3...2...1! I personally like the 1994 "Street Fighter" and even the 1993 "Super Mario Bros." I never really played any of the games they were based on, so that allowed me to judge them as their own films rather than adaptations of their respective source materials. I've discovered that if you walk into them (or ANY video game-based film for that matter) with THAT frame of mind, they're actually not really 'terrible' films to watch...or they might still be. It all depends on who's watching.

I agree with the majority of the films on the list, but there were a few I actually enjoyed: 1. Prince of Persia - despite being a fan of the game series, I found the film fun to watch. 2. Silent Hill - for me it wasn't complicated and I liked it as a horror movie. 1st part was better than 2nd though. 3. Double Dragon - I loved it a a child, and as an adult I still do. Sentimental values. 4. Max Payne - I did enjoy the film in general.

I actually enjoyed Agent 47 more than the 07 movie. Saw it in theaters and it wasn't a waste of money as most critics like to say. I have a feeling when it comes to video game movies, don't allow hollywood critics to see it but instead the studio that made the game. More credibility to their assessment than some old dude that no one's heard of.

Originally, his character wasn’t even supposed to be in the first Silent Hill. The studio make Christophe Gans add a male main character so Gans added Bean and Kim Coates as Officer Gucci. Bean doesn’t take part in any of the horror that occurs, so it makes since that he lived.

To be fair, "The Sands of Time" was T. It didn't get M-rated until the sequel, "Warrior Within." I don't think "Warrior Within" or "Two Thrones" had any influence on the movie outside of a chain whip, if I remember right.
