that's pretty common on primeday...you should ALWAYS check the price history for those items. Sometimes they are cheaper than a few days ago but have been MUCH cheaper in the past already and the price only went up a few days before prime day. I'm glad i only bought 1 item on prime day and it was something i wanted to buy for years but haven't because there was not a single discount in between.

I highly recommend avoiding the FireHD 10. I bought one last year for my daughter to play shows and movies in the car. The thing has butter an utter piece of crap. It’s so sluggish and freezes up so often I couldn’t stand it. I actually just bought an iPad 10th gen to replace it on the Amazon Prime sale for $300. I am so glad I did. It is so much better quality and runs butter smooth.

You guys want to know what Amazon does for all the delivery drivers who end up dealing with the aftermath of prime day? It's not just a 2 day event for us, it's 2 week of heavy routes. If you guessed they pay us more for the extra work during the hottest time of year, your wrong. They give our delivery companies a handful of airpods and Bluetooth speakers to raffle off in the morning. Nothing guaranteed, no real compensation. But you go ahead and order all that shit, we love being paid nothing for extra work.

Most, if not all of these deals, can be found at other stores for the same price. Going to best buy, they will price match any of these items (as long as it's shipped and sold by amazon) and you can get the product same day, and easy to return. Plus no porch pirates. Granted, not everyone has easy access to a best buy or some other brick and mortar store. Just providing an alternative option for those who can utilize it.
