If you’re wondering how the jury could find Depp and Heard both defamed each other: The statement Heard won on was a very specific statement made by Depp’s lawyer at the time alleging the staging of a scene. The police body cam footage which greatly helped Johnny’s case also showed that wasn’t true. However, the other two statements she countersued over alleging a hoax were not found to be defamatory. So the jury found that Amber lied about abuse, and Johnny’s former lawyer lied about her staging one scene.

Are you serious? You considered Angelina Jolie scandal of the year, I can't help but think there were more serious things happening than these Hollywood happenings.

9/11 isn’t a “scandal”.

Hannibal should have been mentioned in the Cosby story.

Bah, insider trading? That's nothing. Politicians are doing it right in front of our faces and no one is blinking an eye.

I remember the Depp/Heard case. Why?! Because I was going to volunteer at the exact courthouse where it happened. I had an opportunity to meet one of depp’s lawyers and he seems pretty cool

And because it happened less than a year ago haha

The most ironic thing about Martha Stewart is She was a billionaire in 2001 She could have saved herself A lot of time hassle and 5 mouth prison sentence if she would took the forty seven thousand dollar loss from her ImClone Shares stocks. I'm just saying forty seven thousand dollars to a billionaire is like the equivalent of me going to prison to save four dollars and seventy cents.

Why does everyone keep calling the Superbowl incident and accident? It obviously was planned. She had the little pasty thing, it was timed exactly to the line "gonna have you naked, by the end of this song" at exactly the end of the song, and it tore away clean.

Anyone remember the Dove Lady who released a white dove outside of the courthouse every time Michael Jackson was deemed not guilty of a charge.

The outcome of the trial favored Depp over Heard so I'd say it was a victory for Johnny, his reputation, his career, and his future. Also, Epstein didn't kill himself.

True, Epstein died of TDS (Trump Death Squad)

gotta love for 2004 when they mention the superbowl they just HAVE to say it as Carolina Panther's vs Tom Brady's Patriots. 🙄 As far as I know Tom Brady never owned the Patriots so they weren't "his"

The title should be “Top 23 celebrity or pop culture scandals of each year” yo.
@hkl614 Жыл бұрын
I think what you mean is "Yearly Top Scandals spanning 23 years" I stroll over here with my good math, good grammar, punctuating, expecting 23*23 scandals and what? what? what do you have to say for yourselves? Big big disappointment. but I forgive you.

I've never in my life heard of Jimmy Savile. I'd say the media was more focused on the Cruise-Holmes divorce and Ann Curry leaving Today.

Cruise is always playing a capable dude, who still has a woman who he has to up his game for, and save the day. It's practically the same role every time, so he is probably the most overrated actor ever.
