Skull face mission is a gold mine not only for containers. I take Quiet with her heavy sniper and she wipes out everyone easily on her own. Then I call in D-Walker with his Fulton gun. This saves me a ton of GMP as he extracts cons, tanks, walkers and AA guns. If you complete the mission you get a bunch of S ranked volunteers at least 10 for your base :)

start the mission in freeroam and bring a expensive vehicle when you started the mission fulton the vehicle and grab the resources you want then find the checkpoint and abort and youre back at the start with extra resources and a vehicle+ atleast thats how it is on pc.

i just noticed that the container values dont change in a mission if you fulton it, abort mission and then start the mission again. an example is when you are on the mission "skull face", you can bring d-walker with fulton cannon and extract all containers. after you reach a checkpoint just abort the mission and then start the mission again. the containers' values will not be changed

I dont know about pc, but I just tried this on Xbox One and it DID NOT work. I even did it the same way you said, mission 30: Skull Face, I brought D-Walker with fulton cannon and extract some containers. I reached a checkpoint and choose to Abort Mission (Return to ACC) and then started the mission again. The containers' values were reduced -- only 5 units for the first, and the two nearby were 40 and 75 for the others. NOW, if you were in "freeroam" to start with, it would only say Abort Mission but not mention the "return to acc." I found out that starting in freeroam first, starting mission, getting containers and hitting checkpoint, then aborting -- that would bypass the reduced limit. Thanks for calling me out on something I may have missed -- i want to have a video that people can use and covers everything. That's why i mad a follow-up video that should show in the annotation at the start, "Metal Gear Solid V, Infinite Resources Using Freeroam." This uses the freeroam angle to bypass that 1 hour counter. Thanks for the help!

no. In my testing, choosing restart never worked, then the containers would have their lower values. do exactly as i say in video seems the only way. Be sure to check the updated version of the video, "Metal Gear Solid V, Infinite Resources Using Freeroam." It shows as an annotation, but some platforms cant see that. thanks.

start in freeroam and then start skull face mission. abort after the checkpoint when ur done and you will be put back in free roam. it works then. going back to ACC makes it not work.

Alternatively you can equip any camo and chose to free roam afgahnistan and then start mission 30 (skull face) and Fulton every container throughout OKB zero and you could also Fulton the tanks for extra money, at the last gate you just go back to the second to last place to trigger a save and then Abort mission to return to free roam instead of the acc in order to make this even faster and you won’t waste any resources

for anyone watching in 2024, you do need to do a couple things after mission 31 in order to be able to develop wormhole fulton, namely the extracting legendary jackal side op and also most likely getting the "gun cam defender" blueprint because that side op seems to block the legendary jackal one from showing up since they're in roughly the same zone. the resource value arnt tied to an hour interval. if you finish 3 missions the values will be reset. I remember covering this topic and combining this with infinity farming to end grinding forever.

I think update 1.06 changed some of these things. I tested the resource values on my own a week ago or so, I'm not going by what someone else said, this is what i noticed on my own. I saw i was getting 75 units instead of 7500 units when i tried doing this strategy one day. After 2 hours I tried it again, and the values were back to normal. Then i tried repeatedly getting them JUST under an hour, and I got the reduced rate. Then I did it just over and hour, and I got full value. To reset this "one hour timer" you just need to do 1 story mission (which i did Mission 4: C2W), and then you can immediately do a farming mission and get full value. Completing 3 missions resets all shipping containers in the world.(i might have said 3 missions in the video, but thats because that's what i needed in order to get Mission 30 to resort back) So if you grabbed some during a mission and finished it, those containers remain gone until you've completed 3 more story missions (i heard side ops work but I haven't tried myself). I tested this stuff out, and i made sure what i did would work for someone else trying this. I acually made a new video, "Metal Gear Solid V, Infinite Resources Using Freeroam [After Patch 1.10]" and know i dont use the above method anymore. It bypasses the 1 hour timer AND having to do a story mission. Thanks for the comment, though. If I'm wrong i want to be called out. I want to have a video that works, and that people can confirm it works.

S rank skull face: take a jeep and smoke grenades with max duration, drive the jeep up to right before the sniper outside the encampment spots you, throw the smoke into the jeep, drive up to the stairs inside the back hanger, and dive up each set of stairs for a completion time of under 10 minutes skipping cutscenes. As you drive the jeep all the enemy soldiers can see is the vehicle itself and will side dive to get out of the way, hope I could help 😊

If i complete the four main missions will the containers that aren't from other areas you haven't show will be available?I've noticed that restarting checkpoint of a side missipn that you will face a better extracting person unless you don't care about who you extract this is the best for gmp you can extract somewhat the best stats. Restarting the mission for the da saeman men mission will jumble your stats to your preference type of unit. Not only will you capture unique units you will get both unique as well as more gmp if you ate patient. The jeeps and other things i feel count for pf grade as i have hold about 3 tanks. If you spent about an hour completing 4 main missions you can grab the containers from the areas besides the areas that he mentioned be in mind that you need to play 4 missions and an hour to get the best materials otherwise you will grind four missions for nothing do four main mission wait an hour and get the materials.

Hellbound Mission NEW SILENT PATCH FIXED THE ABORT BACK TO ACC rinse and repeat method won't work,however same method and you ABORT BACK TO ACC,HEAD TO MOTHERBASE,THEN IT WILL RESET WHEN YOU DO THE MISSION AGAIN.just figured that out,credits still to you though.Hope this helps 10/4/2020

Update Version 1.18 is out, both consoles will show version 1.15 on main menu. Chronos WaTch If you grabbed the containers in freeroam or you grabbed some and then complete the mission, then they remain gone until you complete FIVE story missions (i think 5 side ops work too but not sure). You can repeat the same one over and over, like do mission 4 five times and they will return. no big deal.

if containers are gone, then you must've picked them up during a mission and then completed that mission. Or you grabbed them in freeroam, that removes them as well. You just need to complete 3 story missions to reset all containers, so replay Mission 4: C2W three times (if you want, you just destroy those three radar dishes from the chopper, like in the video). That should get those containers back! Tho I've had to do it a 4th time before. thanks for watching!

Use the updated method on my video, Metal Gear Solid V, Infinite Resources Using Freeroam (it should show like in annotations on-screen). This bypasses waiting the one hour, or repeating the C2W(?) mission three times in order to reset the timer. I dont know why your run was like that, we're still on Patch 1.10 so nothing has been changed. You do need to be sure to ABORT the mission, as "reset mission" will not work. The game should work exactly as I show in the video, so be sure to follow what I say in it. I'm sure I mention to Abort to ACC in it whenever your done getting resources. And don't complete the mission either! At least, not if you want to farm still.

no, you can do them in any order, and you can do as many different missions as you want. The ones I show are the most used and the easiest. Just do the ones you feel comfortable with, any order. Its just the order I like to do them in:)

If you’re not even close to having items to help you farm resources efficiently, should not be farming these missions. In my honest opinion. Just do main missions, completing side tasks and doing side ops. You’ll be knocking out 4 objectives until you have proper items to develop and use to farm better. Case in point don’t waste your time farming resources when you have other important things you could do while playing.

you can farm however you like, there is no "proper" way that needs to be adhered to. I did this video to help people just starting out over two years ago, everyone needs to start so somewhere. That's the great thing about games -- you can waste your time all you want, if you're enjoying yourself then its time well spent:)

no, at least not how i show it. This is an older video, please go to a newer one, "Top 20 Beginner Tips Ultimate Edition" for updated strategies. Is a long vid, but it has timecodes in description and even gives you methods to use when you're just starting a new game. I show how the new method works, but basically you do the same thing but you need to start in freeroam first, then start the mission. Side op 50 isn't available gor me and ive completed the game and done a total of 86 side ops why

You are only allowed to have so many Side Ops open at a time. You may need to complete ops that are open located in the same area as Side Ops 50 before it we be available. See if you have a side ops 9 (gun-cam) base security blue print available in the Angola-Zaire border region. You probably did it, but if it happens to be open then do it - it takes place in the same zone as the the legendary jackal and blocks it until you finish it. If not, just do other Side Ops in that area and hopefully it will unlock for you. Good luck:)

no, but definitive just has the base game with all costume dlc included. it shouldnt be a different version, but go to my newer video, "Top 20 Beginner Tips, Ultimate Edition" for updated versions of farming that i still use today.

no, i always stay "online" so online resources are always collecting, and i have access to all my available GMP. Being "offline" doesnt help with this farming method at all, so you might as well stay online. hope that helps!

you sell back the precious metal for a lot of gmp. You can sell back any of the resources you have, but 1,000 precious metal sells for 1 million gmp (if i remember correctly). Its the best way to make money.

Gold weapons? Are they new? How do you get them??

You had 3 questions, so here we go: Gold - they added higher tiers to several weapons. Most are just existing ones with slightly higher stats, but they require insane amounts of levels and resources. check them out. Over 200 - I got two FOBs, and when all maxed out I can have 300 members in each section. Cant go Online? -- I believe there's maintenance going on right now for Xbox One, so that might affect your game too. Hope that covers all your questions:)

Stryker Of Enyo thank you! and no, I've had trouble getting online on my ps4 since I took it out of the box. it DLs updates just fine in rest mode, but any way else it's just terrible. I'm afraid the wireless component is just bad. I don't want to even consider sending it in to fix cause I've got P.T. on my HD. :/ thanks again!!

sorta, I have two updated videos that use newer strategies, "Top 20 Beginner Tips, Ultimate Edition" and "Top 20 Advanced Tips, Ultimate Edition" so please use them. They are long, but both have timecodes for all entries, and any methods for farming still work today.
