It would be cool if the reviews had two types of options. One that would be simplistic, 1-10 score and a summary if desired. Then the other with an advanced review with an actual break down of key aspects that are broken down into individual scores for each (game play, graphics, story, bugs, etc) and summed together plus maybe a summary and a "what to change, if anything" boxes. Then you could take all 4 sums of the community and average them together for a very, very realistic score as well as maintaining ease of use and being something that incorporates a new style of rating system all at once. while having a final score overall you could also have the 4 scores viewable so that people can see serious review scores in a nutshell and see the quick score. One other idea is possibly separate price and the actual game rating. So for simple ratings ask two ratings one for price and one for the actual game. Since in the end the price is kind of irrelevant to the game itself and is more of a marketing thing. Also Bugs and glitches are kind of irrelevant despite how frustrating they are they can hurt a games reviews that after being fixed would otherwise be irrelevant. Maybe all that is too complicated but its an idea that once organized I believe would finally get a score that people could consider truly accurate.
