And across those parks, the chain has 127 different roller coasters, including many award-winners or record-breakers. Mamba gang! I agree completely. I had been on Steel Force so I was expecting “good, not great”. Instead Mamba is one of my favorite hyper coasters and I prefer it to multiple B&Ms. Untrimmed Mamba is such a treat.

I love the Top 5 of this list as three of them are my home park (I live in MI, but am way closer to Cedar Point). My favorite part of Millenium Force is leaving that final tunnel and seeing the people in line getting ready to ride. You're speeding through and your reaction hypes the people in line. Shivering Timbers is an architectural masterpiece. It's aww inspiring to see that mass of when you enter the park, I wish Cedar-Flags could pair it up with something wonderful for a 1-2 punch. Steel Vengeance opens up their film with a series of bunnyhops before the lift hill. I love the movie preview of this tour de force.

I'm 54 years old so I usually prefer floater airtime over ejector, unless the latter is done well. Also: I've never been to Kings Dominion, Worlds of Fun and Michigan's Adventure, so I'm guessing where the five coasters on this list I've not yet ridden (Dominator, Twisted Timbers, Mamba, Intimidator 305 and Shivering Timbers) should rate compared to the 20 on this list I have ridden: 25: Xcelerator; 24: Railblazer; 23: Afterburn; 22 Mystic Timbers; 21: Goldstriker; 20: Dominator; 19: Maverick; 18: Yukon Striker; 17: Copperhead Strike; 16: Raptor; 15: Gatekeeper; 14: Banshee; 13: Twisted Timbers; 12: Leviathan; 11: Orion; 10: Thunder Striker aka Intimidator; 9: Mamba 8: Ghostrider; 7: Intimidator 305; 6: Shivering Timbers; 5: Millennium Force; 4: Behemoth; 3: Diamondback; 2: Fury 325; 1: Steel Vengeance. The afterburn batwing used to be so much better! The park hasn't opened the North Gate in years, but when it is open, the path goes right through the middle of the batwing. Fury 325 gliding around the field at the South Gate is a pretty good replacement, however.

As a Michigander who lives about an hour southeast of S.T., I strongly approve of the top 2 even if it's a controversial opinion. I would say also that Maverick, Millie, TTD2, I305, arguably even Xcelerator are all better than any B&M including Fury.

Dude, stop with the rattle thing. It's not even noticeable, and certainly doesn't affect re ridability. I'm a thoosie, but I feel like 80% of thoosies complain about rattle on kings island coasters because they've heard other people talk about it
