There’s also, Son of Stan, where it’s revealed that Roger is one of the reasons why Jeff & Hayley are still living with the Smiths. Throughout the episode, Jeff & Hayley try to avoid Roger but he keeps pestering them for the 50K until they have almost nothing left. It can be assumed that, had Roger not shown up, Jeff & Hayley might have put that money towards an apartment or house?

They would have squandered it anyway, they were going on vaca and all types of stuff even then when trying to get away from him none of it was practical. They could’ve even negotiated giving him half to stop and leave them alone and they would have still had 25k which is more than enough for a down payment and like 2 years rent ahead of time

I don’t really see Greg and Terry being overbearing parents (although it’s implied to mostly be Greg that’s the problem) is retroactively proving Stan was right about gay people being bad parents. It’s basically just dragging them to the same level as all the straight parents on the show. If you have enough context to know that Stan was against their becoming parents, you should also have enough context to know that this is pretty standard for Langley Falls.
