Enjoyed the trip, not many hills. I'm seriously considering a long weekend tour of the delta region in the next couple of months. Perhaps stay in Tunica. Thanks.

Forgot to tell you. Check out the shack up inn for lodging. Looks awesome. I hope to make a video of it one day!

The delta is old riverbed and is created by the meandering of the river channel. There is land like this in Arkansas on the west side of the river as well from north of Helena to the Missouri line. US 61 also travels this area from Memphis to northeastern Arkansas. Without man's intervention this river wanders about 150 miles east and west of the current channel. Today parts of Tennessee are west of the river and parts of Arkansas are east of it. There is a piece of Kentucky isolated in a loop in the southwestern part of the state. There are many more as well.

Blue highway where people don’t pick you up! Because it’s so misty, foggy or, no wait it’s clearing, well, they don’t pick you up because your driving too fast!

Bob Dylan wrote and sang a song about this highway.
