I personally don't understand why the PWC people always trash talk Sea-doo I have a 2012 RXP-X 260 that has over 400 hours on it. I've kept up the maintenance exactly to the book and the thing runs like a beast. I was kind of undecided between that and the Yamaha because I had heard the Yamahas where much more reliable. But I'm a sucker for looks and the Sea-doo just plan looks waaaay better than the Yamaha. I feel that I made the right choice.

Ya ! Rxt X 300 Sea-Doo did suffer from Carbon seal failure and a lot of them have been sunk down the lake. But what's not being told is that it happenned to dudes jumping waves with the throtlle pinned down or crusing into dirt and gravel all the time.

Man those prices make me glad I live in the US you can get a RXP-X for under 16,000 USD that is before taxes which will vary by state plus I live near two large lakes each is only a 20 minute drive from where I live or I can get to the gulf in about an hour

A friend of mines has the Lava Rock Color Jetski, we tested it, and it goes 0-60secs in 3sec. Pretty amazing. We tested more then 5x . It says 6 seconds to 60, but it went couple seconds faster. Everything stock.

Unfortunately , they're only making " big whales " anymore , with the exception of the Seadoo Spark ,, but a little weak on the horsepower . I still have a '00 & '02 Seadoo xp 's . Love them , great horsepower to weight ratio , and very nimble !

Jessy Bwoy86 no no it isn’t. I have ride bould of them and the rxp is faster. If you asks the dealer he also gonna say that they have made de rxp for power and the rxt for luxe. And you can do donuts with the rxp, the rxt can’t.

Jeffrey Bentz hey buddy I just installed stage 1 flashed ECU FREE FLOW few other goodies I did purchase riva cooling upgrade I seen the amount of work to install it I ride up near Boston water temps rarely see 70 in ocean never see 70 degrees will I be ok if I don’t mess with cooling system pls advise 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

@@dproulx7380 mine has a 8650 rpm tune and rode it couple times with no cooling upgrade and i didnt have any issues and am in miami so its hot but ended up installing the cooling upgrade just to be safe

Ariel thanks for info I have same tune I did purchase the 20 dollar cooling upgrade from riva I’m just to lazy to put it in plus you definitely have to pull some stuff off motor to put it in I’m up in north east water might get to 70 up in the bays only 60s in ocean so I think I may be safe

Guys, cut the dick comparison and let's make it clear to everyone. I'm not a yamaha fanboy at all....but for pure sports models, GP1800r SVHO wins any day, all day regarding reliability and pure sports driving style. RXT X 300 comes in second place, due to questionable reliability regarding the carbon seal. But it has better ergonomic designs such as the easy access storage and LINQ system, but it's more of a lazy ride since it is more stable. For cruisers, FX cruiser SVHO is the winner because of that tank reliability. GTX Limited 300 is second. RXP X should not even be part of the equation, there are absolutely no reason to buy a RXP X 300 in 2020....the RXT X is faster, sits one more person, has LINQ system, direct access storage. Period

It’s more like calling great value gelatin jello, not calling a trim of GM truck a ford truck model. Everybody calls these things either PWCs, Jet Ski, or WaveRunners. The last two are names of specific models of PWC but are also used to describe all PWCs by ordinary people.
