Any recommendations on brands that carry handlers that are easy to disassemble for cleaning? And when I say cleaning I mean like a deep cleaning, removing the blower wheel… From my bit of searching they seem scarce and hard to find. I’ve come across the All Easy Pro line from Midea but doesn’t seem to be available in the U.S., came across Carrier model number 40MAHB but seems it has to be purchased through a contractor. The most promising one I’ve found is Friedrich, their Floating Air Pro line. Just curious if perhaps there’s other options out there that I haven’t come across and perhaps you can share of some that are easy to disassemble like the ones I’ve mentioned in order to maintain and clean those hard to access parts and areas.

Most ductless units are able to be taken apart and cleaned down to the blower motor. I guess your question is which unit is the easiest to disassemble. We know Mitsubishi products functionally are easier to disassemble compared to some of the other options on the market. I'm not sure we can make objective recommendations as its hard to prove which ones are easier vs. harder to take apart to get to the blower wheel etc.

The videos I am watching all show the line sets mounted to the exterior wall with them inside of the housing then up into the location I would like to run the lines through my unfinished basement and then into the walls. The house is brick veneer I will be opening the wall inside to place the lines into 3 1/2 “ space the to the location of the unit. Would that work? and how long of line sets can be used ?

You can surely run the lines inside the wall. You just want to ensure your connections are done well- if you doubt them you may want to have access panels available. The line-set maximum lengths are dependent on the specs of the system. Most systems are pre-charged for a certain length but you can add refrigerant to the system if the length you use is longer than what the system is charged for.
