A covered call has the same risk reward as a cash secured put at the same strike price. The only difference is pricing skew. No difference between rolling a short put from ATM to ITM than using the wheel strategy. More important to look at the pricing skew and choose whether to sell puts or jump in and buy a an ATM covered call.
