Thanks, Brandon. I looked at the Canon craft printer. It has been out of stock for months. I hesitate because it is not a tank printer. I am willing to spend up to $300 to get everything. The Canon 9521C printer used to sell for $199. I am also worried about ink costs. The Epson 7750 looks good but is out of my price range. Thanks so much for your video.

Shopping for a new printer brought me here. That being said I have a Pixima iP8720 featured in this video. I love my Pixima which would be good for poster printing, but I'm finding I do not like the fuzzy bleed feel of the prints I'm attempting for use with scrap booking and junk journals and that's scanned images up to 1200 dpi. Ink is very affordable especially if you go with an after market company. I can print on a number of different paper types and choose monotone or color. It also accommodates a multitude of paper sizes. It isn't fast on printing, but adequate. I honestly love this printer except the blurred feel of my scrap booking stuff. This might just be a personal issue as I've never purchased scrap packs from other noncommercial artists so I'm unsure what quality is 'good'. Additionally I scan mostly antique lithograph prints and once you get use to the quality of that printing process you'll never be satisfied with modern prints...period. I'm a litho snob and that's probably my satisfaction undoing. I'm finding a lot of scrap print artists deal with laser printed packs and I'm unsure why. What is the advantage of this process?

The main question for me is what WEIGHT paper can these printers handle? The first one shows lightweight scrapbook paper. I need a printer that can take heavy 110lb or more cardstock without jamming. Thanks.

Hi, I was so excited to see you did a video geared towards crafters. I'm in the market for a printer for this category atm. This a great review for scrapbookers who need the 12x12 size along with photo printing but I'd love to see some recommendations for crafters who are doing 8.5x11 paper size, downloaded printables from etsy, and aren't looking to print photos. I"m wondering how the epson eco tanks would work for this?? The printables usually have quite a few pages and eat the ink for cartaridge type printers... way too expensive in ink costs. So wondering if you'd have recommendations for tank style printers that would work well. thanks fo much and enjoy your channel :)

I am a crafter, and although i have found the best printers regarding the ink usage, when is about the cardstock is really very hard to find an objective advice - if i read 5 articles, i have 5 different ideas. For junk journaling people the printing is the most problematic aspect of our craft, we are confused every time 🤭😀

I am making postcards, calendars, childrens books, flyers, brochures, photos, etc. From this video, my options will be Canon TS9521C or Canon IP8720. Please can you help. I need to know how many pages can I print with these printers. And also, which ink is best for crafters/what I do - dye or pigment. There is just too much to consider when trying to buy a printer. @@BestPrinters ooh that would be wonderful! many crafters ,including me, are looking for a ink tank printer that is able to handle heavy cardstock. i have a epson ET-2751 now but it doesnt take cardstock or heavy paper. printing photos sucks, they come out damaged with deep imprinted stripes like scratches. hopefully you will be able to find some reasonably priced good ones. im looking forward to your video :) keep up the good work, i love your videos

The more money that we spend on the Printer, the less money that we will end up paying for ink and the less money that we pay for the Printer, the more money that we will pay for the ink.

The problem is the ink refills seem to be liquid gold, you can;t afford the ink, and the printers don;t always except you refilling them yourself, its a scam...

Certain manufacturers, like Epson, will disable the printers if you use 3rd party cartridges and/or ink. That;s why I got rid of my Epson.
