The strongest aspect about the floating island hole is the outside tunnel like soace going up that should have multiple cliff plats with hanging towers making it impossible to go up without dropping and draining multiple towers! Not to say its pretty good against skiffs aswell...

@@munchiedR6 no cus if you build multiples from different angles and heights even if ppl showed up with a hatchframe quetz it would get shot from multiple sides making it unnefective as long as 2 towers from differemt angles were up... So like i said, it would require dropping/draining multiple towers before going up...

U should put a warning that the first rat hole is insanely easy to mesh hit. We managed to raid it on small tribes very easily because mana diving next to the entrance hits anyone that is near the opening of the cave. This means that they cant push up to grapple to kill any carbos that are thrown inside.

Place a pillar at the top with a ladder on it as close to the hole as you can. Then inside the hole, place two pillars with a triangle ceiling on top. You can stand on the triangle foundation jump and grab the ladder to climb out. Takes a lot of messing around though thats for sure.

Another thing you can do thats pretty finicky is using a jump pad, took me about 2 hours to set up and you have to do it a very specific way but it is possible and its better than a ladder imo

All you have to do is crouch first, then grapple up, fits through first time every time.
