I played Star Wars CCG when it was first released and stayed with it all the way to the end when it was discontinued due to Decipher losing the rights to Wizards of the Coast (which really ticked me off when it happened). The game was doing so well and was giving Magic the Gathering a run for its money. I haven’t played in forever and still have all my cards and some of my decks are still put together. I even won two local tournaments and got two Decipher Star Wars CCG tshirts (one was the C-3PO card and the other General Veers)….was a real highlight of my life! I may consider getting back into the game and play virtually. I’ve always had a place in my heart for Star Wars CCG and it always truly immersed me in the Star Wars universe like nothing else could! Glad I stumbled upon you guys’ channel! I love the content!

Thanks man! Love to hear this kind of stuff. I’ve got a few of the t shirts myself / very cool items to find the right occasion to wear lol. While the game may be out of print, there’s a pretty vibrant community of folks online between Facebook, discord, slack and a few other places. It’s free to play online via gemp and there’s still new virtual cards coming out to refresh the meta.

I'm definitely interested in this, but I am so fresh returning to the game that I still need to learn how to use GEMP and meet some people to play with so I can up my game and learn the game in general. Looking forward to all of this in the near future though! This is currently my favourite channel on youtube.

@@boardmatt I haven't played in YEARS, hah, but it would be a thrill to play a game with you! Me and my buddy played Court vs Profit mostly before and after the game's end. Too overwhelmed by all the (v) stuff, so Premiere-Hoth sounds perfect!
