I could not get the connection between the waste cloth recycling and metal works. But I have respects for both. Never thought that waste cloth could be recycled to this extent. God bless these people who work on most unhygienic workshops. They could have got Masks at least. Hope they are paid properly.

This has been a dream of people in the clothing business. Recycling cloth is very hard because the fiber lengths are very short. Those are open end spinning frames just like I learned on.

I agree with all the previous comments, however I am just thinking if they could shut down the equipment for a day or so to clean all the debris off the gears, belts and parts the machines might work better. They are such hard workers and such awful conditions. They deserve respect.

I try to donate my clothes while they are still wearable, (have lost a lot of weight) good stuff to Dress for Success, and casual to Salvation Army. Just wish you could take stains out of polyester. At least they are recycling some of the waste.

I'm concerned about their lungs. That lady who was fluffing out the filling wasn't wearing a mask. I think I saw maybe 4 people with a mask. Breathing all that minute fibre into their lungs must have a dreadful long term affect on them. Bless their hearts. They probably don't get paid very much either.

Pick it up, carry it yo the shredder, throw it on the ground. Pick it up, feed it to the shredder, let it land on the ground. Pick it up, carry it to the corner, throw it on the ground. Then finally..pick it up, throw it onto a sheet, tie it in a bundle. So why not sort it, throw it onto a sheet, drag it to the shredder, place another sheet under the shredder, run the clothes through the shredder onto the sheet, then bundle it when it is full and save half of the work you are doing?
