I would add verifying there is air flow. Our first summer with the A/C went okay for a few weeks before the flow dropped to almost nothing - slightly cool but little of it. It took me bit to realize several vents had been closed off and the air had become a bit humid - the evaporator iced up. I opened the vents, shut off the 240 to the compressor and waited until the flow was normal before trying the A/C again.

Add "check your drain system from the indoor unit". Especially if you live in a humid ambient.

Great video. However....before you go spraying water into your AC condenser, turn off the damn power! Secondly, make 100% sure you don't have wasps up in the louvers surrounding the coils inside.

MY AC /heat pump says max 15 amp breaker but its a 20 amp breaker, am i safe? thanks

If the supply amps for the unit is 15 and its on 20 your safe but if a equipment problem arises its not properly protected. Which can possibly lead to damage to the unit if it arises and it would also void any potential warranty.
