One of the most common myths about experts and world-class performers is that natural talent plays a significant role in their success. In other words, they are gifted with an unfair advantage that others simply lack.
Peak by Anders Ericsson and Robert Pool is about the real secret behind the success of expert performers. It covers practical tips and insights for anyone interested in improving themselves and learning how to master anything.
So, let’s explore some of my favorite insights from Peak by Eric Andersson and Robert Pool.

I may focus more on marketing it once I’m finished my current book project, but at the moment I’m just enjoying publishing new videos and writing the book.

Your "insights" are not insights at all... They are simply parts of the book. This is my insight after watching many KZbinrs... They take great words they think they understand, and they misuse them.

You won't master anything unless you are naturally talented.

I suggest you burn that book, and dont ever make reference to it again. Talent is inborn, end of story.

Aha, well the book makes a pretty compelling case for the opposite :).

@@RickKettner Well, no it doesn't actually. Why dont you read "the sports gene", because that makes a exceedingly strong case that talent is inherited. By the way, dont rely on what some book says.Look at the whole picture, which very clearly shows talent is inborn.

@@RickKettner You might like to know most of Anders Ericcsons work was entirely methodologically incorrect. He made inferences which were not supported by his own data.Where to even start on how wrong his research was....
