As someone who struggles with multiple mental illness diagnoses, I felt for Kailyn. Most twins will share mental illness, but not necessarily the same thing at the same time. She wanted to help people because of her brother, but I do think she was schizophrenic or had a psychotic break.
@lymmea3 ай бұрын
Supposedly her twin brother had paranoia that was exacerbated by his drug usage, so she could have developed paranoia as well later in life. I agree with your assessment, and it's even possible she might have recently started taking some drugs or medications - prescription, OTC, recreational, who knows (the family said she hated drugs because of what happened to her brother, but she could have hated hard drugs while being less opposed to milder things like marijuana, perhaps) - around the time of her death that triggered mental health issues by accident. Some people are 'morbidly predisposed' (that's a fascinating phrase) to mental illness, and Kayelyn and Colton might have been that. Even just innocent prescription drug use, or nothing at all, might have been enough to cause the incidents that ruined/ended their lives. It's scary to think that our rationality can be so conditional and finite.

I agree and empathize. I got attacked by 7 hoodlums in Wales a couple years ago, on my way back home from groceries with my wife. There were 15 - 20 witnesses, and not one stopped to help or intervene (other than my wife!). At one point I was on the ground and they were all kicking and punching me like a movie. My wife was even shouting and running to people to ask them to help and to also call the police. Aaaand nothing. Luckily they didn't have any knives, and use to train and compete in MMA, BJJ, and played rugby for 10+ years. So other then being bruised and banged up, I was OK, and they eventually ran off and got scared once a couple got hit (Haha, and my wife broke a glass bottle like in a Western movie!) and a neighbor eventually came out to hear what the commotion was about. Unfortunately for him, the hoodlums "marked" his house, and told him that he's screwed, they know where he lives, and that they'll be back with knives. Great people. I have since moved.

I remember when that story broke about Jr. It was absolutely horrific hearing and seeing the details of his murder. I remember the reason he went outside was because his friend came over and asked if he could go to the bodega with him- and since he owed him money he went with his friend. That's why you see him wearing his socks in the video, he told his mom that he would be right back and just going up the street to the store. If I remember correctly the niece had actually set him up for that hit because she didn't want her uncle coming after her bf, (there was an explicit video going around of the gang members niece and her bf which absolutely enraged her uncle. I think his friend was the nieces bf but I could be wrong. its been awhile. ) but because they look so much alike, the uncle went after jr. I remember this video of people surrounding the nieces house protesting she come out and answer for what she did. Jr's sister was interviewed and she actually ran to the hospital when she heard that there was an attack- she saw it was her brother and ran up to him to try and stop the bleeding. While she was trying to save her brother he told her "I'm so thirsty. Can i have some water" and then he ended up succumbing to his wounds. Those gang members had to be in solitary for awhile as there were death threats from other gangs for killing an innocent kid. The whole story was just heartbreaking and could have been completely avoided.

Yup! The niece set him up! She knew him from that police program they were both in together, remember junior wanted to be a police officer. The re is a video of her having sex with her boyfriend while his friend is sitting there in the room watching and filming them, she smiles and keeps going like she is so proud f herself and then when the video gets passed around and her uncle finds out he loses it and she lies and tells them junior is the boy in the video to protect her boyfriend! She is a little pig. The video may still be around somewhere, I saw it a few year's ago, people were posting it when it came out that she had set him up. The one boy in the video did look a little bit like junior.

@@muhammadscott571 it is true, I saw the explicit video, the niece was having sex with her boyfriend while his friend recorded them and laughed and joked about them having sex, the girl just smiled at the camera and kept on going with it. The boy actually does look like junior! It is easy to see why they would think he was him. I also saw the video of a group of people outside of the nieces house screaming for her to come out, people were angry when they found out what she had done. She knew junior from the police program that junior was in, it's a program for kid's who want to be police officers when they grow up. There are pictures of him in the uniform and a picture of the entire class or group of kid's who were in the program and both junior and the niece are in it. I've seen all of this, I don't remember where because it was a few years ago and I'm sure the sex video was probably taken down but it could still be floating around if u dig for it. I happened to find it accidentally because for weeks after his death I searched for updates and anything on his case and thing's just kept coming up. At of thing's came up from people in the neighborhood who knew them and the situation which is how the sex video came out. There is a video of junior sitting on the steps across from the hospital bleeding to death and his sister does run up screaming and he tells her he is thirsty and he asks for water. After the attack, nobody helped him so he started running towards the hospital which was 2 blocks away I believe and he collapsed right across the street on those steps and died. His mother worked in that hospital too! There is a picture of her with him on a stretcher in the hospital hallway and she explained inan interview how she worked there and how strange it was that her son now lay dead there. There is a lot of thing's on this case that have been made public but not via authorities but instead the community.

It’s called the Bystander Effect. It’s the idea that if someone is attacking you in public, the more people there are, the less likely you will get help or someone will call the police because everyone assumes that someone else will do it. This story could’ve been an example of that. So please just be the one to call the police or help the person in need instead of assuming someone else will do it like everyone else.

Regarding the last story, I live in the Bronx and know Junior’s family personally. He only went outside because a friend of his who was nearby asked him if he could borrow $5 to buy food because he was hungry. So a good deed actually led to his tragic death; fcking heartbreaking... They actually initially entertained the possibility that this friend set Junior up using the guise of needing a couple of bucks to be able to eat. Investigators eventually discovered that the circumstances leading up to this case of mistaken identity consisted of one of the gang seeking retaliation against a boy who was rumored to have videotaped himself having sex with the aforementioned gang member’s sister. Supposedly, there was a significant resemblance between Junior and the intended target but this ambiguity proved to seal an innocent person’s tragic fate, as the potential for error was deliberately taken advantage of by the sister when she-out of fear that venting to her brother about her boyfriend’s slanderous betrayal was going to result in him being seriously injured and/or killed-used this opportunity to falsely claim that Junior was indeed the one her brother and his fellow gang members were looking for. (Yes, she covered up for him despite the fact that he’d violated her trust by, not only creating footage of their private encounter, but also exposing said footage with the clear intent to gain clout and the not so clear intent to damage her reputation as a resulting byproduct of his actions.

I reckon Kaylin had some form of stroke, she could easily have had a bleed on the brain that took a long time to actually kill her, it would explain the psychosis and her death before she drowned, if she was running and suddenly died from blood loss or loss of motor control (i.e the ability to breathe or her heart beat) it would make the most sense, any blood clot or build up would be broken down over the ten weeks, explaining her unknown cause of death

Brain bleeds don’t really work that way. A chronic subdural hematoma might not present for a few weeks, but subdurals are more common in the elderly and they don’t usually present with her clinical picture. Her picture is much more consistent with a psychotic disorder like schizophrenia. Edit: as for the cause of death, it probably wasn’t directly related to the psychosis other than her delusions may have caused her to do something that killed her or she may have had an underlying condition that was exacerbated by her psychosis.

"The gang apologized to Junior's family on social media" I'm sure they appreciate that.

That last one was absolutely infuriating! Everyone involved failed that boy, and I don't know who I'm disgusted with more; his assailants, or the people who FILMED him instead of helping him.

knowing the story and both videos of him bleeding to death and the video of the girl the murderers had a solid reason... the girl was SA and filmed by a boy that looked similar to junior... obviously killing aint the solution but wouldnt you want to kill someone that harmed a close family member? i support the attack but do not support the fact that it was on the wrong person and everyone just filmed instead of helping

@@IvaTZ so we will just let gang members run wild and be judge jury and executioner in our streets? sounds like a corrupted democrat ruined your mind.. the girl's story is tragic as well but her perpetrator should have been in jail and should have been convicted...

Both of those groups are just as disgusting, self serving and a fucking heartless! Standing by and doing nothing makes you just as guilty! No one is saying you need to be a hero and sacrifice your safety but just calling the police and OF COURSE helping the poor boy after he got attacked is just decent human nature but obviously we have more monsters then men on this earth!

Thank you for the no nonsense story telling MrBallen. Far too many of these compilations videos are over hyped. The stripped back natural nature of this man is spot on. Many thanks once again.

The Kaitlyn story is creepily similar to Elisa Lam at the hotel lift (elevator). As for poor Junior, words fail me. Poor little soul. How absolutely terrifying for him.

Yeah, she had to have some sort of mental illness or had started abusing drugs, or both maybe. People can develop mental illnesses later in life, or can already have them and just not know it yet. People who were very opposed to drug use in the past can also start abusing drugs later on. I get that families are able to give the most info on a person, but I hate when they're like "no, so-and-so absolutely DOES NOT use drugs and does not have any mental illnesses". Like, how can you really be sure about that? People can be good at hiding those things, and some people are in denial about their kids/loved ones using or having a kid with "something wrong with them" as my family would say.

@@ville666sora yeah it's pretty clear when taking all the circumstances into account that she was on drugs or experiencing mental illness. I found it rather strange to say because of how her brother died that would preclude her from using drugs.
