I wonder if Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis ever joke about how they've both kissed Natalie Portman on screen for a role?

In real life, the friendzone is very difficult to escape.
@trinaq6 ай бұрын
It really is, and childhood friends ending up married as adults is less common than films would have you believe.

The Friend Zone is something entitled whiners invented to feel like victims by having someone like them as, gasp, a platonic entity. Did they Friend Zone you, or are you Fuck-Zoning *them*?

Every time you do one of these "Friends to Lovers" lists, I'm usually disappointed because "Empire Records" and "Some Kind of Wonderful" aren't included. This time you got it right! I also loved seeing "What If" on the list.

I know that enemies to lovers and love at first sight seem more popular and stereotypical for romance movies but for me my favorite romance trope is definitely friends to lovers. Having an already established and good relationship before you become romantic seem much more healthy and better in the long run than most other romantic tropes. And I know that it still doesn’t happen in real life all the time where people are friends for years or at least a while and then they start a romantic relationship but to me that just seems so much better than any other romantic trope. As well as healthier. If you guys already care about each other, help each other trust each other I just have always thought that would be better in the long run

Each of these movies prove men and women cant be close friends without proper boundaries

Most of my friends are guys. As mature adults we have no issues with being platonic friends.
@TKingTranslation3 ай бұрын
What if those boundaries once existed but somehow things changed. We humans are unpredictable in a good way if we try to be honest with ourselves and others as much as possible in life.

Agreed, though both Rob Reiner and Nora Ephron thought that it would be more heartwarming if they actually got together, after all they'd been through.

Troy in "Reality bites" SUCKS big time! Horrible film regarding their relationship development and completley unjustified in its conclusion. Horrible film that's just been romanticized because it stood out due to the subject matter of "aimless young adults lost in the beggining of their adulthood". The topic is very relatable in itself, but that doesn't mean every and any art piece that tackles it is automatically good.
