Nate from devil wears prada needed to be on this list. Sure, at the very beginning of the film they got along, but as time went on and Andi got good at her job at Runway, he started being mean and criticized her for actually being good at her job. Heck, I was rooting for her to end up with the guy from the party. Sure she worked a lot but that doesn’t mean Nate had to act like a jerk towards her. Tbh she also grew just as resentful towards him. I don’t think either of them meant for him to be her sole emotional support-- shit just happens. She needed it badly and turned to the one person close to her-- her boyfriend-- but he just wasn’t able to. I don’t think the blame is on either of them, which is probably controversial to say. If Christian had broken up with her, she probably would’ve killed herself, and I don’t think he wanted that to happen.

I don't remember the name of the movie anymore, since I watched it only once. It's about a young man who has beaten girls to death who wanted to have a physical relationship with him because he witnessed his father beating his mother to death after he found out she had a side piece (the side piece being himself at the age of eight or STH). At the end of the movie he tries to kill his girlfriend, who was the daughter of his psychiatrist.. Cruel Intentions should get at least an honourable mention.
