Not going to lie, made my eyes leak even more than they already were. When he caught mjolnir and then when the “On your left” and then Black Panther came through the portal right after Chadwick Boseman had only been passed away for a little period of time, my eyes were leaking, but the Avengers Assemble just finished me off. I’m going to have to watch that again today.

Star Wars and LOTR alone could fill entire list. Bridge of Khazad Dum. Charge of the Rohirrim at Fields of Pelennor. Eowyns oneliner: I am not a man!🗡️ Destruction of both Deathstars. Emperor arrival at Deathstar. Walker assault on Hoth. Second father son duel at Endor. Palpatine making himself Emperor to thunderous applause. Clone army being loaded into ships at end of Attack of the Clones. Ents destroying Sarumans fortress. I could go on and on.

Not a bad list for many of them, but I think you missed quite a few! Maybe separate the scenes by real versus CGI? The scene from the Thin Red Line where the U.S. Army soldiers attack the Japanese Imperial soldier’s village/camp through the smoke and fog is just fantastic. It really stays with you. It’s full of fear, anger, chaos, heroism, and barbarism that it makes you cheer and curse the heroes while feeling compassion for the enemy. It’s such a beautiful film.

This movie definitely is underrated. Thank you for your comment! I am glad I found it. Personally I prefer The thin red line over Saving Private Ryan. It is not my choice to compare these movies. But either you hear nothing about The thin red line or this comparison.
