The State Farm sketch was great but in general SNL needs new writers. 80% of the sketches have been truly unwatchable they've been so bad. Weekend Update has been consistent but in general they need to clean house.

That sketch works because the Jake from StateFarm character really sucks in the actual commercials. It's the worst kind of corporate design-by-committee bullshit. By contrast, Flo and the Limu Emu (and Doug) are glorious insanity.

Honestly a majority of the enjoyment I get out of SNL is from pre-taped, more well produced sketches. It opens up the door for a lot more creativity, and they could probably pivot very well into a large scale online sketch based channel that would translate well into shorts/tiktoks, as well as continued YT uploads

The Southwest Airlines “Computer Jokes” are spot on. Their network is a Frankenstein nightmare of multiple apps that do the same thing because nobody gives a shit. My boss told me “We are the Wal-Mart of airlines.” Then HIS boss echoed the exact same thing word for word. Anyone who criticizes the pile of crap they built, they are swiftly shown the door.
