A debatable case might be Toaster from The Brave Little Toaster. Yes, despite what others might say, the director and the voice actress have stated that Toaster is female. If that is the case, then Toaster should be on this list because (she?) is pretty brave, funny, and quirky.

I adore Lottie, and her friendship with Tiana. They easily could have made her spoilt and standoffish, but she was genuinely sweet, and a supportive bestie.
@aoinatafanboy846 ай бұрын
I still kind of feel she could have broken the curse and the ending is bullshit. It only broke because Tiana married Naveen. Thus making her a princess. Lottie would have just needed to agree to marry Naveen as a frog and she could have done it as well.

Lottie and Dr. Facilier both deserve a spinoff. As awesome as Tiana is, I don't see why other characters also can't get a spinoff show/movie. I do want to see the Tiana show though, in case they add more to lore involving the other 2 characters (and of course, Louis and her other friends).

Lottie is so awesome. She seems like she’d be a stereotypical movie rich girl. She’s spoiled, she’s pretty, she’s blond and she wears pink. That’s how you describe Regina George who is very mean. But Lottie goes against stereotype and is kind, funny, loyal, caring and is willing to sacrifice her dream for her best friend. I love her and she definitely deserves more attention

GoGo Tomago is my favorite Big Hero 6 character. I love her no-nonsense attitude, how she says "Woman up!", how she prefers speed over everything else, and I quite like how she spends most of her time chewing gum. In fact, her super suit comes with disks that she can use as either roller blades or for throwing at her enemies. She is also really loyal to her friends and sees Hiro as a little brother to her.

Charlotte was so HILARIOUS in Princess And The Frog a really good foil to Tiana, loved her. I was surprised that Kiara was on the list.

I think Lottie is my favorite. I think the part where Tiana falls and ruins her party dress, and Lottie drops everything at risk of missing dancing with the prince, so that she can comfort Tiana and give her a new fresh dress to wear, and compliment her is just a deep insight into her character. And idk, a person who is, deep down, that incredibly kind (to give up her dream because Tiana found true love) is a wonderful character. She definitely deserves more spotlight.

These are some of my all time favorite female Disney characters! And yes sadly some of them don't get as much love and appreciation as they deserve. Charlotte, Maid Marian, Kiara, Bianca and Megara are within my top 5 favorites!!!
@SilvanaPuris23107 ай бұрын
Yeah, I admire them too: to Kiara (she really is a great heroine, and I know in a future she would be a wise, brave and compasionate queen), Charlotte (really she's a bestest friend to Tiana, giving up to her dream for the happiness and true love of her best friend), Bianca (I admire for being a heroine compasionate and brave) and Maid Marian (I'm not only to her by her love story with Robin Hood, I admire when she bravely begs for his life to Prince John, and after the fight she was willing to leave her life in the palace to be together with Robin and she admired what he did for the rest even if it was against the authority of Prince John)

I ADORE Esmeralda! I had a doll of her as a kid and played with her all the time. Also, thanks for giving the Muses their flowers. I have a sort of back-burner dream of singing with them.
@Lady-Kanerasoka7 ай бұрын
15:46 Not only is Kiara a severely underrated character, but “The Lion King 2: Simba’s Pride” is JUST AS underrated! I will admit that it’s nowhere near as great as the first film, but it’s still amazing. The songs are amazing, especially “Love Will Find a Way,” which never fails to give me goosebumps and bring tears to my eyes. But it’s also a very powerful message: blind hate affected the leaders of both prides so much that they tried to “instill it” into their own children, but their hearts were so pure that not only did they fall in love “Romeo and Juliet-style,” but their love was so powerful it was the only thing that managed to end the civil war. It’s a powerful message of love triumphing over hate, which is, unfortunately, severely underrated, especially in today’s society

Yes, Charlotte is a stereotypical rich daddy’s girl, but she’s also extremely loyal to her best friend, especially in a time period when different races normally didn’t mix outside of business. Tiana’s mother was her family’s seamstress but both Daddy and Charlotte LaBouff were extremely caring and supportive of her goals, not caring what others think. Charlotte could have stolen Naveen after finding out about the spell since it’s always been her dream to marry royalty but when she sees that Naveen and Tiana are in love and want to have a life together she helps them. THAT is true friendship

As much as I love Maid Marian (heck I like every char in Robin Hood), I'd pick Lady Cluck because she's not afraid to express herself and physically fights back. I really wished she had been around for the 3rd act. As short as the movie is, it wouldn't have hurt to have an extra scene explaining why Marian and Cluck weren't there (and I can think of a good reason why). FYI, Robin Hood is my fav Disney Movie, but even I know it's not above criticism lol. But yeah Lady Cluck is awesome and that 'football scene' is for me one of the funniest movie moments for me period.

In 2003, thirty-three days before my fourteenth birthday, I had a "favourite nightmare" where I discovered some sort of flick-book movie to a _Lilo & Stitch_ sequel. In it, Lilo tied her things in a red bundle with white spots, which was then tied to a stick, and then she left home. As she ran away, she walked past a burning fire, having the same look on her face as she did after Stitch abused a smaller dog (he shoved a shave ice onto its head, yelled "Dummi-dummi-da!" and then threw postcards at it). Meanwhile, the rest of Lilo's Ohana (with David included) all read a letter Lilo wrote before running away. When they were done, Nani broke down in tears, sobbing just like in the original film (after Pleakley told her, "Look at the bright side. You won't have to yell at anyone anymore.") David, Jumba and Pleakley all comforted her, while Stitch set out to find Lilo. The flick then ended, and then I leapt up to the ceiling, clinging fearfully to it. The reason it was a "favourite nightmare" is because I found myself wanting to be a very nice person.

I've always loved Shank from Ralph Breaks the Internet
@OverlordZeroULTIMA7 ай бұрын
I think Shank is way more underrated than Venellope, tbh. Especially since people didn't really like that movie as much compared to Wreck-It Ralph. Even the influencer chick was less seen vs her. Plus I saw the line for Venellope at Disney World one trip (it was between going to her and seeing Joy as a meet and greet), and she was PACKED! She is NOT underrated, and honestly, I feel like the more "adorable" characters like her and Bonnie are not underrated at all, especially if they're a younger age or from a popular movie. Like Jessie to me isn't underrated either. Maybe it's a lore thing why they said Jessie (and Bo Peep) at all, though. In my defense, I don't really understand the meaning of "underrated" though. I always saw it as "obscure" or "less popular/known". Maybe that's not it.

Glad that Charlotte, Vanellope, and Miss Bianca all make the list! I notice the list doesn't specifically say "Disney MOVIE characters," so I can think of an underrated fenale Disney TV character to add: Peg (aka Pete's wife), from 'Goof Troop.' Pete's family were undeniably more interesting and entertaining to watch on that show than Goofy and Max were, and Peg was a BIG part of that with how she interacted with her husband and children. Peg can really be a complex character. She could be perky and cheerful one minute, then boiling with rage the next (MAJOR props to her voice actress April Winchell for demonstrating such emotional range). She genuinely loves her family and neighbors (She often seems more fond of Goofy than she is of Pete), but at the same time won't take any crap from any of them, ESPECIALLY from Pete. She's a great wife and mother, a great neighbor, a great realtor, and a great character in general who deserves more appreciation. Here's to you, Peg!

When my friends needs advice they usually come to me like Shank and like her I can give wisdom by cherishing my friendships like Shank can. Nancy Tremaine- Enchanted- I relate to her because I have always been a dreamer myself. As well as extremely sarcastic like her. Try’s my best stepping out of her comfort zone with my love life. Meg- Hercules - I always have been related to Meg I am extremely sarcastic and I have had a tragic love life just like Meg Wendy- Peter Pan - relate to Wendy because I am the sister in my family that has always have mature/Mother vibe to my siblings and to my friends

I love that the Muses from "Hercules" and Mad Madam Mim from "The Sword and the Stone" made this list. I'm completely bummed Madame Medusa from "The Rescuers" and Edna Mode from "The Incredibles" were left off.
