I didnt understood if the classification is random or effectively based on strenght. If is the latter, I think Boros should be just before Garou, almost no one of the other monsters are able to literally destroy the surface of the planet like Boros "planet destroyer" attack.

I don't think boros is a dragon level, every other dragon levels that fought saitama got finished with one punch but boros didn't. Boros might be a god level threat since he also has the ability to destroy a planet.

Personal idea: Only two that are worth considering being God level here are Boros and Garou Boros level: above dragon since he could destroy a planet and kill a star but isn’t God for two reasons one he wasn’t seen so his ship was identified as dragon and the author wanted to wait to give God level to someone else. Boros would technically be low God though since his final attack is the strongest Orochi: above dragon but not as strong as Boros or Garou Garou: above dragon, awakened is already about Boros level and cosmic is probably going to be identified as mid God maybe since the author is still probably waiting to give it to someone else

@@jmc2830 God Garou is definitely a god level threat. Since blast himself appeared, and he only appears when Humanity as a whole is in peril. God Garou was also giving off cosmic radiation that killed everything near him without resistance to it and was powerful enough to destroy the earth during the "Serious punch²". He probably could destroy it even before that though. His final monster evolution flew Saitama through the earth to the core itself which resulted in it bulging the other side of it.

I found OPM seeing Melzargerald snippets on YT. And was taken away by how powerful he was portrayed, overwhelming everyone fighting him. While I wondered and searched for the anime the snippet was from I found that the main antagonist is the invincible one in this anime, loving the series ever since.

That's innacurate technically, monster are really specific beings aka human that transformed for some negative reason (either monster cell or their own negative emoions), so technically Boros and his subordinates aren't monsters, they're aliens
