When you shake it that is a warning bark . Try the hunter specialties squirrel call.. Louisiana here where im at the grey squirrels are everywhere in town is where i see the fox squirrels, such a shame i need more fox squirrels out here in my countryside.. I want to try the primos call one day.. I have a dog training whistle that makes a killer distress sound.

I find those aren't as good as a distress call. More of a high pitch sound.

Not even just bought the primos for opening weekend the call pulled squirrels from the top of trees and gave me good shots
