Thanks for this information. It's hard to find more difficult core workouts and avoid flexion on my back at the same time. I appreciate this info. Aside from core workouts, it's also hard to find deadlift and squat alternatives that avoid putting weight on my back.

Hello William, I have L5-S1 disc bulge and some degenerative changes in cervical region as well. Although pain in my lower back and legs is the main concern for me, but sometimes i do have some stiffness and little bit pain in neck. I gave attention to the posture related precautions. Age 27. Recently, i started to focus on developing core stability and for that i started doing 2 exercises: Bird - Dog and Side planks. Query: Is Bird-Dog exercise safe with pre existing neck issues? Bird - Dog causes some pressure and little discomforts in lower region of neck for me. Thank you for posting such helpful videos.

I have discs from L3 to S1 so that is a total of 3 and I am recovering well and starting to train again, do you have a full program that can be done even if it is a paid one? I used to be a pro athlete and I know I always will push myself so hard cause I can't stomach that there are things I can't do like I used to do in the past so I don't want to go crazy or risk injuring myself again. 34 years old now, better be wise after these injuries :D

The first and last are way to hard for me.. Dang it hurts! I'm doing the mcgill 3 at the minute but the one knee up, core hold/brace is so sore too... Do you have any idea what I could do? Like smaller steps up until then? Not sure..

I can do a couple of these but, as weird as it is, I not only have a bulging disk but a herniated disc too. So what works for one hurts the other. Any recommendations?

I don't think you have any understanding just how painful disc bulges can be. A lot of what you're doing here is pushing the spine the wrong way, thus causing the disc to bulge more. All your exercises need to relax or neutralize the pine and then bend it the right way. You've obviously never had a disc bulge, correct?

Hello, Could you suggest if Cat-camel exercise safe to do with an already existing disc bulge? Been in chronic back and leg pain for past 5 years. Age 27 now. Any comments will be hugely appreciated.

It is apparent you have not suffered from a herniated or budging disk issue. The supposedly safe exercises that you recommend are impossible or very difficult due to limited mobility or strength and are very painful to attempt. 😢 Sorry
