Kids should be playing in the woods, mud , using their imaginations..... Internet is not needed!
@twdjt62455 жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t go as far as to say the internet doesn’t help....but I do think kids these days spend way too much time with their eyes on screens. Like hardly anyone even plays outside anymore at all. At the same time I think the internet, when properly monitored, can be a useful tool and it’s basically necessary for kids to learn how to utilize things like computers tablets etc....our society is only going to get more and more tech heavy and if you deprive your kids completely of that kind of stuff, unless they plan on moving off the grid for their entire adult lives or something, they will feel it in many places/areas. For us we keep my little brothers’ Xbox restricted to three hours a day on the weekends only and on the weekdays if he does everything he is supposed to after school he can choose between 1 hr on his tablet or the computer playing educational games, rest of the time he’s riding his bike, reading, or playing with his legos etc.

@twdjt62455 жыл бұрын
Kelly Star that depends on the parents. If the kids aren’t using the internet as a tool, then that is the parents fault. My brother is learning to code right now....utilizing the internet on a website his teacher requires him to utilize for assignments anyways. Like I said, don’t deprive your kids if you have them of using/learning about and with technology. It is useful in many ways as a tool for both learning and being proficient in it is a useful/valuable skill now and will only get more valuable in the future. If you monitor their usage and time then it will help a lot more than hurt. Don’t make your kids turn out being someone who can’t even figure out how to submit a college assignment or buy/pay for groceries 20 years from now....because in case you haven’t been inside a Walmart lately, that is where we are headed as a society. People will need to be able to quickly and easily use tech in every day life.

@Krzysztof Prusakowski What the hell do you mean there's nothing proud to be single mom? She just said it. It has nothing to do with attracting a good man. Pretty sure she could,maybe that isn't her priority right now. It's not a must to have a partner,give her a break 🤦🏿♂️

Number 3 at 3:30. Like it or not this is how legends are made. Mozart, Serena Williams, Michael Jackson, etc. You start them at a young age (very young in Mozart's case) and flood their mind, body, and soul with practice and training and discipline them when they stray from excellence. It's not fair in the least but it's how champions are made.

#3 brought back a lot of childhood memories of being brought up in an extremely overbearing household and personally that led to severe depression and anxiety, self esteem issues (if I got anything wrong even if I had no clue what I was doing it would take a toll on my self esteem) and I over thought the simplest things (led to a lot of other issues including relationship issues where I felt I was always the problem because I wasn't perfect) Maybe those kids will have a thicker skin than myself and my siblings but I can honestly say that being raised like (very similar conditions) that royally screwed us over in the long run

That lady really say it's a shame those kids are playing in mud instead of the internet? And that they are missing out!? Shit, it's all about balance. Playing outside in the mud and some screen time is great!! Kids should be playing outside in the mud and getting dirty! Not watching kids on KZbin playing and having fun. What a fucked up way of thinking. All about Balance. Play outside, have fun, get dirty, experience nature! And then can also play video games, watch KZbin and play on the internet but let them do both! Fresh air is great for children! I'm so happy my childhood the internet wasn't a thing..well it was. It Was just new and was expensive and not every house hold had the internet. So as kids we played outside, would go and knock on the neighbor kids door to see if home, instead of text messaging. Went to the park, walked around, played got dirty and didn't have social media to ruin it. Would play outside and laugh and have fun instead of feeling pressured to Instagram/Snapchat every thing we do. Its really crazy how different things are. (Okay, I'm officially old saying that haha)

I'm a stay at home mom and I try to do all the cleaning cause it's not fair for my husband to go work outside in 20 degree weather all day then come home to clean but the kids are NOT a job they're BOTH of our responsibility so he'll cook dinner for them 5 nights a week to help out. He considers the money he makes our money and says if I didn't stay with them he couldn't work so it's our money. We're a team and I used to be all gussied up back before we had our kids but sometimes it's too hard so mostly no make up lol he says I look better that way anyways. I'm lucky and he's lucky. We lift each other up and it's good for our daughters to see that. I will go back to school once they're all in school and then go to work. I grew up with my dad being a Dr and cooking and cleaning. My dad was AMAZING! I NEVER saw him and my mom fight ONCE in my life!
