Thanks Andreas I’m happy you liked it. Congrats in the new DS. The hanger bracket that attaches the slip on to the foot peg needs an extension link. However, if you are installing the slip on only or the racing version you may not need it.

I have a 2018 Desert Sled and have major issues with its original seat...its just to uncomfortable for long distances..so, I bought the sled comfort/touring seat from the Ducati catalog and that seat too is not that great for long distances..Any suggestions? Hows the Full throttle seat?

It’s slightly better. I think you should consider something like a seat concepts or similar for more comfort.

great bike and great video but i was wondering since u live in the middle east does the bike get that hot ? and how much is it brand new ? unfortunately Ducati dealership in Kuwait doesn’t have a desert sled scrambler which is weird since we live in a desert 😂, but really i’m planning to get a desert sled from Dubai and ship it to Kuwait so I was wondering how much is it ? and yeah have a good day

Nice bike ,what do you think of a 21inch front whèel wouldn't be hard to relace, would it have an effect on the ABS?

Thanks Richard. Tbh swapping the front with a 21 did cross my mind a few times. The issue I had with that was that I would need to change the 17” rear with an 18 “ so I don’t affect it’s stance and rake. 😀 to do that I would need a swing arm extender ...performance wise , would the outcome be worth it ? I’m not sure. Also I have a 701 Enduro for the kind of off-roading the DS struggles with ..😁😁

@@bount320i The reason I was asking was that I want to figure out if something like the desert sled is enough as an all-around bike. I normally go for naked bikes (I had a Tr. Street Triple that I sold last year, thinking about what to replace it with), and I am attracted to the light off-road capability of these types of bikes, gives you the freedom to explore. By the way, I just checkout out your channel and the BMW R80 looks sick !!!! Awesome retro bike

Hi Andreas. Love your mods. I'm willing to install your very same exhaust (S-D8SO4-CUBTBL) in my 2020 DS. But i've read here and there that these akrapovic don't work in the DS (in the offical site the DS is not even listed as compatible bikes). I've read in one of your comments that you put the extension link. Where did you get that? Was it custom made? Thanks and congrats on your bike

Thanks 🙏 yes it was custom made. A simple extension to bolt the exhaust hanger in to the passenger peg
