Hello, I just want to say thank you sharing your knowledge. My mom's washer was agitating, but not spinning. Using another of you videos, I was able able to get error codes ( F7E7 and F7E1). Appliance tech wanted to replace transmission. I replaced actuator, did not solve problem. Then, I replaced capacitor, and it worked. Thanks again. Good bless you.

Wouldn’t a stripped basket driven hub cause the washer not to spin as well? When I try turning the basket plate, it turns freely, and won’t turn the basket. When it goes into spin cycle, it struggles to try and spin, stops, retry’s etc. Any advice would be much appreciated? Thank you!

😂I watched a few of your videos but this one I got the most information from because I have that exact machine so it was not spinning the water out I followed your directions starting with the tub not spinning and the tub was stuck I’m assuming some thing is down in there but I was able to spin the tub back-and-forth I’m washing 2 to 3 items right at this moment wish me luck I can hear the machine working and I will wait to see if it spins the water out thank you for your videos.

If it sounds like a jet engine then the bearings are shot

I have a kenmore 80 series, it spins and drains but doesn’t agitate. The coupler is good and lid switch is good it only spins and drains no wash. What can it be? Thank you

Unfortunately that is most likely an issue with the transmission especially if the timer advances as it should
