Tip for eating street food in Venice; sit down on the ground with your back against a wall. The gulls can't come from behind and have trouble trying to grab food from your front with your hands in the way. I like to go between buildings in a passageway or narrow alley. Those winged bandits have not yet gotten so much as a morsel of my precious Venetian food!😁

On the fritto misto sizes, the small is the best value for your money. If you measure the cup, the 9E size only gives you one or two pieces more then the 6E. And the 12E about one more piece then the 9E. Every single fast food place and restaurant (especially in the USA) pulls this. The cups are very deceptive. Another example is the french fries at McDonalds. Don't bother ordering the large size, order a regular. Once again, the container is deceptive. The large is very tapered towards the bottom. The regular holds the same amount!!

I'm in Venice now and I cannot for the life of me find this Bepe Bigoi place. The one in the city proper seems to be closed, and supposedly they have another location on the long island to the east but it doesn't come up on Google maps 🤷

I'm sorry if you found them closed! The video was filmed 5 month ago as you can see, so something could have changed in the meantime. However, as far as I know, this place does not follow the opening times indicated on google maps closely, so maybe it's a temporary thing?
