Ciao Sebastian! We will be in Venice in September but are vegetarians (we do eat dairy but no meat or fish). Any local spots for vegetarians? Ciao Jean, Although local venetian cuisine is integrally connected to seafood from the lagoon (they're built on water after all), you won't have a hard time finding vegetarian options at nearly all cafés and restaurants. Many cicchetti showcase Veneto cheeses and vegetables from San Erasmo. On menus you can focus on the Primi and Contorni sections to select some great salads, pasta dishes and vegetables.
