Same goes for me. Glee has its problematic moments but there are still great lessons that u can take away from some of its storylines. It honestly helped me growing up, as I was a gay kid growing up in a homophobic society. And for that, Glee will always have a special place in my heart.

I cried many times during this show, but I remember "Roots before branches" scene took me by surprise. I did not expect Finn to do that and that was the first time Glee broke my heart and made me literally SOB.

I loved the character and his voice but I do not in anyway support what he did. It is possible to think that way. And if you stopped watching the show just because of him you have to think about all the other actors that would lose money because of that. I don’t know why but whenever I think about the Mark Salling situation, I just feel sad. Sad for the victims in the photos, but also sad that he killed himself. If he went and served his time or died in an accident, I don’t think I would have this reaction. I know I’m probably alone in this, but Puck became one of my favorite characters. He was so talented, it’s just a shame things ended up being the way they are.

I am in my 50s never watched Glee and possibly wouldn't like it but have older teen kids so can relate to clips but I love the music and sing along with it all the time. You are right it does make you happy music is therapy and could really help at the moment when we are all so unhappy in the world. They should re-run all of it and say viewing is compulsory to comply with covid rules we are still in it in the UK. We all need a good bit of escapism and this certainly is.
