Yes, would be really nice if you could make a video on the back region.. but one thing in particular.. locating intercostal spaces..all the way down from the very top with the claviculas.. not just to the nipple.. so far I have only been able to find one video about this and he does the counting very fast. It would be nice from the second intercostal space all the way down to 11/12 rip and at the same time indicate the most important acu points in this presentation graphically on a random body. I find the intercostal issue very hard! so plz help us!

Use a stretch tape measure with white elastic fabric. Mark regular marks with a sharpie. Good for teachers to demonstrate CV channel. Use skeletal references. The best book IMHO on point functions is no longer in print. Rogers, Point Location and Point Dynamics Manual. From the University of Technology Sydney Australia 🦘🇦🇺 This was used for the 4 year TCM course. Carole Rogers passed away in 2009 had been an Acupuncture teacher from the early 1970s and got Acupuncture into the Universities and was pivotal role in Australian Acupuncture registration. Advisor to WHO in Geneva on Acupuncture education and DSc. Worth finding a copy. It was popular with the martial arts people due to Erle Montague? (Dim Mak) was related. The opposite of the healing use of the book.

Why bother calculating 3 cun when I can just use the distance of the maleolous to the heel?
@acupuncturemasterclass11 ай бұрын
Thanks for the question! While using certain "quick" or "cheat" measurements such as the one you are referring to can be fairly accurate in some situations, I prefer my students to do the hard work of using the local cun measurements first (when available). Once they master identifying the cun measurements, I find they use the "cheat" methods a little more accurately and make less Acupuncture point location mistakes. Think of it like learning to walk before you run!
